13th Colony Distillery - Americus, Georgia

Stopped in on a whim, rainy day in Butler and decided to venture out. No tours on Tuesday, but Randi (y) sorry for the spelling was phenomenal. On point with history, facts and details about all things 13th colony related. Tasted all the selections with a fun description given beforehand. At the end of our tasting she gave us a try of something fiery and spicy and 145 proof. Be careful, it’s delicious. Thoughtful conversation and she even gave us recommendations for a Lunch spot nearby. Go if you have the chance, it’s a cool little joint!

We had a wonderful time everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were not in a large group so everyone was able to get to know one another and I enjoyed that they were willing to share there knowledge with no company secrets. Definitely worth a trip and pay them a visit.

Distillery tour was great, Spirits were even better! 13 Colony might be my favorite. Just need to get my hands on a Double Oak!!!

We really need enjoyed the tour and getting to sample what was being distilled. The hosts were great and it was fun to hear the history and have the distilling process explained.

I went for a tour here after trying their double oaked bourbon and falling in love with it. The tour was very informative and you get to see every part of this craft distillery. Everything is made is this small warehouse. I loved the fact that they have some equipment made from recycled metals. Megan our tour guide was great!

The cocktails you have before the tour are delicious and I’m not a vodka or gin girl but I’d drink those any day. My favorite was the southern bourbon. It’s also awesome that if you buy a bottle at the distillery it comes signed by Graham, the master distiller. Very cool.

I highly recommend making a stop into this place. I made an almost 2 1/2hr drive down from Atlanta and would gladly do it again. The distillers Graham and Brian even stopped to say hello and have a chat while we were there. It was an amazing experience for this 13th colony fan and one I won’t soon forget! Cheers y’all!

Visited Thirteenth Colony Distillery last week with my wife. I discovered their whiskey and rye about a year ago and I was surprised on just how flavorful and amazing their offerings were. I saw they were a Georgia Bourbon and immediately wanted to support this company.

The Master Distiller, Grant, took about an hour out of his busy schedule to chat with us and even offered some of his special future offerings to see what we thought of them!

This is a small footprint and everything is done on site, to include filtering their water until its damn near sterile.

Everyone that we encountered were down to Earth and very accommodating…We enjoyed our visit very much!

Best Distillery tour ever! The tour is quick but getting to talk to the actual people who make the bourbon and know all the backstory’s of the distillery was amazing. And we ended up chatting for a while. They also make arguably the best bourbon of 22 and now again in 23. The double oak is not available to purchase or taste there (but they let me hold it). But we did get to buy a special release single barrel they had just done. And it was signed by the master distillery Graham who happed to be there that day and was a great guy and awesome to talk to.

I’ve been a fan of their spirits for a while, but just had the opportunity to do a tour and tasting. It was a lot of fun, and I would recommend it to others. Great spot to stop in for a visit in Americus.
