We had a fantastic time on the corkscrew pass tour! Our guide, Dave, was exceptional - it was clear safety was his priority (this is not a tour you want to compromise safety on). As Dave has a long family lineage in the area, he provide many anecdotes, personal and historical which left us with a great appreciation for the area and it’s story. Would recommend doing this during the morning, as the afternoons can get rain. The views were incredible, well worth the drive up. Hurricane pass is up high and can be chilly, so would bring a jacket. Additionally, the route goes along a portion of the Million Dollar Highway (so you could skip driving it yourself!). This was the highlight of our time in Ouray!

Rented a jeep. Julie was so nice and very knowledgeable about the trails. We've never been in this area before so knew nothing of the trails. She offered insight and suggestions about which trails we might like. Then she walked us through a short session on all the features of the jeep we rented. Getting to see the rugged land beyond the highway was our favorite part of our vacation. Thanks SOA for making it happen!

This was the most incredible thing we did in Ouray!!! We took our 3 kids (ages 8, 6, 4) and we all loved it! Only one of us in our family had been on a jeep adventure, so I had no idea what to expect and I was blown away by our driver, Jeff! We saw the most epic spots, learned so much along the way and even had the kids go "gem hunting" which was their highlight! If we find ourselves back in Ouray, we will definitely do this again! Incredible company, incredible drivers and an incredible experience we will never forget! Definitely make this a part of your trip!

They were great! The pricing was awesome considering they were brand new jeeps. They took care of us since the jeep wasn't rented the day before they offered to let us take it the afternoon before for no extra charge.

We rented a jeep for our honeymoon and we had an amazing experience with Switzerland of America! We received a brand new jeep with all the bells and whistles, the staff was delightful and helpful with trail recommendations! 10/10 experience! We did Cinnamon pass, Engineer pass, CR110 and corkscrew pass from Silverton to Ouray, and Yakee boy Basin!

My husband and I booked a half day tour to Imogene Pass located in the San Juan Mountain. ❤️❤️❤️

Mike was our guide. He was extremely knowledgeable of the area and history, most importantly the experience on trails.

Mike was accommodating to our requests of stopping for photos of the water falls, spring fed water, and looking at the wild flowers. Weather was perfect!

Definitely ready to go again and experience more backroad trails. So nice we could enjoy the scenery and let Mike do all the driving. Kudos to Mike for assisting other travelers in need of help on the pass. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We ended up booking a self guided tour and she mapped out an amazing route for us! Thank you Julie for going above and beyond for us and for making our first visit to Ouray one we will never forget!

Their booking system from start to finish was simple and well integrated with email notifications and their follow up texts. The people running the business were very personable and quick to get you on the trail with the information you need. The jeep was comfortable and ran very well.
