A true haven for board/tabletop/trading card games. The place is beautifully organized, everything is well-labeled, staff are relaxed and happy to talk and help, and it is wonderfully clean inside. They host tournaments for card games, have board games unboxed and on tables for you to check out, and have two really nice rooms that can be reserved for your ttrpg or console/board games. Hands down the best nerd store I've ever been in.

Nutmeg Games is a true gem, if you're a trading card/board game enthusiast this place will feel like home. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, they have a large area with tables for playing various games, and there's a wall filled with board games that you can play right there and then. I highly recommend checking out this store if you're even remotely a fan of MTG, Yu-gi-oh, Pokemon, Warhammer 40k, Star Wars Unlimited, Lorcana or just a board game lover!

Most of the staff is friendly and courteous. However the owner has always been exceedingly rude to me. I’ve shopped there and at his previous store for YEARS. I’ve spent THOUSANDS of dollars there (just in 2022 alone). So I can accurately say that this store OVERCHARGES for product. I would go in there every day to see if the TCG singles had been updated which they usually weren’t. And I knew full well I could get new product cheaper at either Walmart next door or any other game store, yet I still spent my money here supporting small business. I didn’t want it to come to this but I am no longer interested in supporting this business. Not after the way I’ve been spoken to.

My husband and I, as well as many of our family and friends have had nothing but good experiences over the past 2 years during our weekly hang outs.

If you’re in need of anything gaming, Pokemon, collectible, etc. this is your place! Meredith is always incredibly kind and helpful. I first started shopping here when I needed a birthday present for my boyfriend who loves Pokémon. Not only was I able to find items my boyfriend doesn’t have (a somewhat difficult task since my bf is a big collector) but they answered every question I had and were very patient. Now it’s my go to place! Plus I would MUCH rather support a smaller business over a place like Amazon any day especially since Amazon’s Pokémon cards aren’t the most trustworthy anyway. Nutmeg for the win!

Friendly staff and welcoming players. There is a good mix of competitive and casual events, and a player base that creates an environment to match. No sharks or gotcha moments at regular weeklies, and larger comp events are run with competitive integrity in mind.

Inventory is great for all types of tabletop players. D&D figures and books are plenty, boardgames shelves have a good variety, and card game supplies range from budget-friendly to top quality. Sealed product for cards games (more than just the big three) are plentiful, and singles for MTG, Pokemon, and Yugioh.

Played an evening of magic here. Great store, clean and tidy play areas, and friendly staff.

Last match of the night was against Stephen, an owner. He was super friendly and after some great games said, "If I ever beat you in an event, just tell the organizers you lost to Stephen and they'll give you credit for the win. I don't need the store credit."

On top of that, they've got a huge selection of board games, supplies, and more. One of the nicest games stores I have ever been to.
