This was a very nice small bookstore in Juneau, Alaska. I went there to search out a certain book for my husband (a local author), but it wasn't available at that store and our cruise ship was leaving before they could get to me. I was able to find him another book from a local author and got to pet the cute dog (also got his pic).

I love indie bookstores, and is one I'd love to visit again. Great selection of books with some great toys and keepsakes as well. I found a new book to read while there, and loving it. So do yourself a favor, whether you live in town or are on a cruise, stop in and give them some business. You'll love it.

A lovely local bookstore with tons of books for all ages, as well as some games and novelties. Owner is incredibly kind and happy to help you find anything that you may need. I ended up finding some postcards that I ended up getting and some books on mycology caught my eye that I'll definitely have to be back for!

I was trying to find any books about wolves for a family member and the lady behind the counter was awesome in helping me with my task! She told me about a famous wolf here in Alaska and said there was even a book about him. But unfortunately it's a much sought after book that she didn't have any in stock at the time but she suggested I try a used bookstore that's nearby and they did have a copy. The lady at Hearthside Books went out of her way to help look for items and gave me great suggestions of books to look for! I highly recommend this place! The service a friendliness cannot be beat!!!?

The nice and tidy book store contains Alaska history and artwork in abundance. Charming Bride and I picked up several cookbooks as well as a toy---for me! Katrina was most knowledgeable and kind with her suggestions of cookbooks and things to do. A great stop well worth searching out!
