Hable por teléfono para reservar y me dijeron que no era necesario hacer un pago ya que tenían mucha disponibilidad. Cuando fui al día siguiente con mi familia no solo no tenian los equipos necesarios para hacer standup paddle, sino que tampoco tenían un guía para nuestro grupo (nos hubiéramos adaptado a hacer el recorrido en kayak). Solo nos ofrecieron rentar kayaks e ir a explorar de manera independiente. Quien nos atendió en persona fue muy maleducado. Ni siquiera pidió perdón. Pésimo servicio y una falta de respeto. Hay muchas otras opciones en la zona.

Viajo todos los años por lo menos una vez al año a Fort Lauderdale. Siempre busco actividades nuevas para realizar junto a mi familia, y viendo tanta gente realizando paddleboard en el canal me dispuse a buscar un lugar para alquilar las tablas. Así llegué, en febrero de este año, a Sunrise Paddleboards, me encantó la variedad de propuestas que tienen. En familia realizamos el Eco tour con John, un hermoso paseo por el canal, donde nos encontramos con manatees, probamos una fruta (rose apple?) y llegamos a un precioso parque, bien agreste. No conformes con eso, mi hija tomó clases de SUP yoga con la divina de Katt y alguna clase de Paddleboard Fitness con Jenna, lo que resultó en una experiencia maravillosa. En otra ocasión, mi esposo y yo, alquilamos en Sunrise Paddleboards una canoa para recorrer otro sector de los canales mientras nuestra hija concurría a clases de yoga. Así que estamos esperando poder tomarnos unas nuevas vacaciones para volver a Fort Lauderdale y seguir disfrutando de las bellezas de sus canales gracias a Sunrise Paddleboards. Epic Kids Birthday Party at Sunrise Paddleboards! We were looking for a fun and unforgettable experience for our son and his friends and we found it at Sunrise Paddleboards! We celebrated my son's 9th birthday there, and it was an absolute blast. From the moment we arrived, the staff were so friendly and accommodating, making sure everything ran smoothly and that all the kids were having a great time. They really could not have been more helpful.

The kids started off with canoeing and paddleboarding, which was led by experienced and patient guides who made everyone feel comfortable and gently eased the nervous kids into participating. Within minutes they were all getting the hang of it, laughing and paddling around with confidence. The lake behind the shop is a perfect, safe place for the kids to have fun and the lovely renovated deck area is a great space for the parents to watch and relax. The guides were so fun and thoughtful. After a while, they brought out a large raft for the kids to play on which the boys loved. They provided the life jackets and made sure everyone was safe and accounted for at all times.

The facilities are spacious and clean. They have an outdoor shower, an indoor changing area and a area for the kids to have lunch and cake and run around. The staff were fantastic and Troy was especially great with the kids. He played the music we requested and went out of his way to rig up our pinata and make it extra fun for the kids to hit.

Overall, our experience at Sunrise Paddleboards was amazing. The kids had a blast, and the adults had a great time relaxing and watching them enjoy themselves. I received so many compliments from the parents and the kids.

I highly recommend Sunrise Paddleboards for any birthday party or special event. It's a truly unique and memorable experience that your child will never forget!

This place is great, my team of 23 people all went and had a blast there was even one person who refused to paddle board and they offered a kayak for no extra charge. Other person accidentally broke an oar since they are apparently easily broken if you’re on the taller side and they we very understanding and did not up charge us for that either. This was one of the only places open since it was apparently too cold even though we did not think it was that bad (we are from Wisconsin) but this location was very accommodating and kind! This is a great place to go to I highly suggest going here on your next paddle boarding adventure!

Very disappointed about the communication. If you're going to cancel for any reason, make sure everyone knows in advance. I went there and no one was there and I got no email or text or anything. They usually have great events, but they have to be better with communication. I know it has been tough with the high winds and everything, but commuting in that area is tough and it's harder to do multiple things in a day down there than what I'm accustomed to in the Philadelphia area. So, they HAVE to communicate better if things change. Had they done this, I could have made other plans and would have given them a 5.

I recently became a member here and every week I go paddleboarding to relieve some stress. This is such a great place from people to the water. I suggest going around 9:15 am if you want some peace to yourself. I started with a 6pm tour and from there have started full moon paddles. I met some good people on these full moon paddles. Everytime I go I feel like I am on a new adventure. Just yesterday I went and saw a manatee up close for the first time in my life. Also I am a florida native so that is crazy. Please be kind to the animals they are very precious. The only con I have is the boats. The people on boats can either be kind and slow down or be nasty and go fast. So if you wanna avoid that go early or take the mangrove path as bigger boats can not fit in the tiny canals. Shoutout to kent and Jay and all the other awesome instructors there. I highly recommend this place it is a blast and a chill atmosphere.

Did not kayak because I fell twice through no fault of my own. Jay was understanding and helpful. He was great.

I came here as a celebration of my birthday and I was extremely satisfied. The staff was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable of all their equipment as well as the weather condition. I came out here with 13 individuals, including children of various ages, so when I tell you the staff was amazing, they were sooooo amazing. I recommend them highly to everyone. In fact, I will be coming back here in the next couple of weeks. I give the staff a HUGE thank you!
