Took an excellent class there put on through the Alaska Boating Safety program. Annie, who is the education coordinator, and the entire team did a fantastic job teaching all ages and abilities how to feel safer and more confident in the water.

We tried paddle boarding, canoeing, kayaking and pack rafting…learning self rescue and general rescue procedures and we learned serval paddling techniques. It was a three hour program with an hour learning and two hours in the water. Well worth the time for anyone who plans to spend time in Alaska waters. While this program didn’t focus on rivers or oceans, the instructors are top notch and can provide resources for all questions if they don’t have the answers.

The pool itself is great, fun for community families but designed with training and racing in mind (as evidenced by the many championship banners hanging from the walls).

The lifeguards were plentiful and took their jobs seriously. Between the pool staff and the program staff, all were in excellent care!

The pool parking is around the building, off of Felton.

Clean pool & very attentive lifeguards. Only two improvements I would make: small group area for learning with special needs & drier locker-room floor please!

Very nice pool and facility for families. Everything was clean and the lifeguards are attentive. Additionally there are life vests available for use and the pool deep end was separated from the shallow end.

They have a nice assortment of life preservers for kids and adults, helpful staff, and clean facilities.

Life long Alaskan, great place, kind helpful staff. I don’t mind wearing a mask to get out and enjoy the community. Stay safe ! Have a blast!!

The pool is a lot smaller than last time i was there which was years ago, dont know why they did that. Saturday open swim is super busy have to get there at least a half hour early if ypu want to swim

Hot tub is usually not available and not easy to get a hold of anyone.
