This beautiful and well maintained campground has the amenities you expect from a KOA combined with an amazing location that looks out towards mountain views. The device is friendly and the main office houses a coffee shop and is well stocked with everything from RV supplies to tourist items.

Close to Exit Glacier and less than 10 minutes drive into Seward's centre, the location is quiet and perfectly situated.

There are a varied mix of RV pads and tent camping spots. Mini golf, foot powered carts, and playground for the kids, laundry and fire pits round out the amenities. Even if you don't leave the campground there is plenty to do.

A nice campground. A bit dull to the eye, but nice overall. Will get better in time as the trees grow up. Hookups at sites were new, well serviced and everything worked properly which is great. Easy parking too. Very clean facilities. Worker, perhaps owner, wonderful young lady. Loved the puppy too 🙂

Location was close to town, fishing, walking etc. The showers, and toilets very clean most of the time for the amount of people using them. I would strongly recommend using shower shoes though. Roomy and good water pressure in showers. Always plenty of TP and paper towels. Laundry room is nice with a TV and chairs, the machines are brand new, and work wonderfully. Machines and dryers are $3.00 each to do a load. Dryer will dry your clothes completely. The gravel mixed with clay like sand is messy, so you will spend some time always cleaning your floor if you mind that. It is a noisy campground with sled dogs next door, and other campgrounds. If you camped right next to the washroom, it’s a very busy place. We didn’t mind, we liked being right next to it. We did find places close by(outside campground) to let our dog run free, and do his business and get exercise which was a bonus for us. We will stay again.

It's a really beautiful campground, except it is in a parking lot and that neighbor is right next door to you. But the wildlife and the scenery is excellent. And we saw the eagle's nest right outside of thpe door It's a tent or motor homes here, and they have a couple cabins, I guess, great store, great stuff. They have there. We saw the mama and daddy eagle feeding the babies And the babies are jumping in and out of the nest, flapping their little wings
But I wish the owners would enforce the loud music constantly. That's the only thing that bothered us. The whole time it never stopped

We enjoyed our stay here at the Seward KOA journey campground.

The campground is well kept, and the electrical and sewer hook ups are a bonus.

We did not mind the fact that the sites are so close together because we were next to our family.

The kids had a blast playing in the playground.

We stayed at this KOA Campground recently. Beautiful campsites, amenities (hot showers/laundry rooms/WiFi). A pretty big store where they have an espresso machine and the owner makes the BEST lattes I've ever had. A picturesque location with a gorgeous mountain and river one one side and a forest behind you. Grass area, spotless picnic table, 2 big comfy chairs and a metal fire ring. The best part is the owners and the kind, caring service they provide. Bre helped us with contacting a company and arranging a shuttle to a local boat tour we had. We will never forget our time in Seward and this campground. Bre's recommendation to a local restaurant for breakfast, called Le Barn Appetite, was so amazing. They made the BEST crepes and waffles. We loved every second of our time at this campground. Thank you Bre

Two night stay. This stop was a last minute decision due to some mechanical issues we were having. The staff were very accommodating and got us a nice back in site with E/W. Nice picnic table on a platform and a fire pit. The bathroom/showers/laundry were clean and modern. One of the best equipped stores weve seen in a KOA and they had a coffee bar - what isnt to like. They do have a number of FHU sites, E/W only and tent available. Close to Exit Glacier and short drive to downtown Seward.
