Freedom Martial Arts in Valrico has been a great extracurricular activity for our 5 y/o son. It was recommended by our son’s physical therapist to help build strength for low muscle tone/weakness from an early birth brain bleed.

We never knew all the amazing life skills that are thought in Martial Arts, it’s not only punching and kicking; your child will learn life skills that are sadly lacking in our society.

After the very first class I remember telling my husband, man! I wish we knew what martial arts is all about, we would’ve made this the very first mandatory training for our now 12 y/o daughter. I’ve told family members and friends about Freedom Martial Arts and how this should be the very first extracurricular activity or sport introduced to any child.

Master Myers and his team do a great job with the kids. Our son really enjoys it. I highly recommend this location in Valrico.

Master Myers is a detailed oriented instructor that cares. No matter if you want to just teach your children values or get instruction at the highest level for competition, you will get both. He exemplifies the values he teaches. I would definitely recommend his school!

THE BEST! I started training a few years ago in Jacksonville. I stopped tried other sports and eventually moved to the area. I saw Master Myers on the ATA find my school and decided to try it out. He has coached me and since then helped me test back into my old rank and I tested for my first degree black belt last year. I am testing for my second degree in 3 months, and have a level 2 collar now. I am also the southeast district champion in forms all thanks to Master Myers! I have found leadership through his program and him as a coach. I have trained in many different schools but his tops it off! I have not only got back in the game, but leveled it up!

This is an amazing establishment!!! The staff is outstanding… I shouldn’t say staff there more like family… I would definitely recommend freedom of martial arts to anyone… it’s great exercise for the kids and keeps give them structure and respect for them selves and others… great confidence boost…
