We had the best time at Wellington Conservation Center. Cole was an amazing guide and the animals were great. Highly recommend making a reservation the next time you're in the area. The additional time with the capybaras was worth it too!

This is a small wildlife preserve run by a nonprofit, guided tours by appointment only. I recommend booking/paying online a minimum of 2 days in advance. Tour guide was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It was a nice, laid back experience since we had just a small group. Lots of neat animals. We especially found the capybara and sloths fun, since we got to feed and pet them up close. There are no large animals here. The whole tour was about 45-60 minutes.

Our experience could not have been any better! This place is amazing! It was honestly the best experience we've ever had with any animal! Such a friendly atmosphere with very knowledge staff to inform you about all the animals and their stories. You can get so up close to actually see these beautiful animals that are so well cared for. And you might even be able to see some of them have lunch! The grounds are so clean and so gorgeous. The staff is wonderful and so passionate about the animals. It is an experience you will never forget! My young kids are still talking about it! One of their faves were the Sloths.
