Horrible! Stay away! The worst trail in polk county! Actually, I hike it every day and want it all to myself. If you just want a leisurely walk with fantastic views and to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect place.

We went to take a family walk in the park, which is completely closed down period it appears to be building a highway, and there is no access to the trails. Everything's fenced off, and bob wire.

Great trail that can be used by either hikers, bikes or horses. We only tried one of the many trails. Our hike around the lake was beautiful. Lots of scenery, birds, even saw a couple of baby gators. Even lots of benches to take a break on and enjoy the view. There's a picnic table and outhouse at the start of the trail by the parking.

Really nice trail. I did the loop around the lake. 2.5 miles, lots of birds and fairly secluded. Awesome lake views. I'll be back for the long, point to point, panther 8 mile trail.

Great trail! Definitely be prepared ahead of start with water and insect repellent. Stay on the tracks. This park has multiple trails with great views. The longest one is around the lake, it's very long but the views you get are worth it. Sandy trails, wear appropriate shoes. I didn't see any gators the day I went. Excellent trail for jogging. No shade over lake trail

This trail spins off of Marshall Hampton Reserve on the east side of Lake Hancock. It goes thru core pastures so you have to watch your steps. Literally! The trails are not at all obvious so I would recommend an app like All trails to keep from getting lost. It's about 8 miles one way and then you have to backtrack. Be prepared for the adventure.

One of the best trails in the area. We come here every few weeks and always see something different. Lost of wildlife and plants of many types. Great Lake view.

It’s a nice 5 mile one-way trail by the lake. The trail is very well maintained. If you love hiking you won’t be disappointed. Don't forget to pay tribute to those brave souls who sacrificed their lives for the safety of people.
