The trees, the quietness, the playground … what is not to love!? We evacuated from Hurricane Milton and came to stay with family. We walked to this park almost every single day. It was such a calming place and so well cared for! The park was clean. It had easy access. It had water fountains. And the playground was awesome for our 5 and 9 year olds! They played for hours! A real gem of a park!

This is a great little park in Avondale Estates! Two structures for older and younger kids, the traditional merry-go-round of our youth (!!) and plenty of park benches nearby for parents. Good coverage overall with shade, and contained by landscaping so your kids don’t feel compelled to run off into the street. Pavilion overlooks the park for lunch or would make a cute birthday venue IF there were bathrooms. We didn’t see any available when we were there. Parking available on the street, so could get dicey on the weekends. Overall, this is a fun one that we frequent regularly.

Was looking for a playground near by for my three year old. This is a great option! There are no bathrooms, but enough slides and places for little ones to climb.

My daughter and I love this park. It's located in Avondale kind of like a homely park for the neighborhood area but it's literally 15 minutes away from my house and it's in a safe area. They have swings and the old school circle thingy that you hop on and the other person is spinning it? Lol it was so much fun the first time we got there it brought me back to my kid days. We go here often now. I walk around the trail while she plays. Clean and non rusted playground.

Willis Park is an above average playground-focused park in a relatively quiet area. Amenities other than the very nice variety of playground equipment include a covered pavilion and a nice paved path for jogging, skateboarding, and other activity, plus a good sized open field which is not to be used for organized sports. Downsides include no bathrooms, lack of shade on the playground during much of the day, and currently defunct water fountains (presumably could be restored after COVID). Street parking is available and you can expect a bit of a walk during peak times.

The park was family-friendly and clean. Its a small park but the atmosphere feels warm. Parking is very limited. I parked on the side of the road. Nonetheless, I had a great time with the family.

I live on the border of avondale in scottdale. To rent the pavilion in this park, which is public, you must live in avondale. This park is nice but tends to be non inclusive. Unless they are hidden I did not find signs proclaiming this park to be "avondale residents only, residency required". I was more than happy to pay a fee for usage.

I like this park. Just in the area and stopped by with my daughter. Some unique equipment.. nice trail around the park. Looks nice too, lots of treess. Very clean. Some space for picnic, frisbee etc
