The resort staff was nice and helpful. The unit was nice and clean. It had a beautiful view of the mountains and lake. The diner on property had great food and the staff was great. The horse riding was a lovey experience and Champ was a great horse. We enjoyed visiting Helen. Ga. Helen was close with some great restaurants (Cowboys and Angels and Hofbrauhaus....to name two) and shops. Also, we went to Blue Ridge and rode the train to the TN line along the river and it was beautiful! I'll visit again!

The overall unit is alright but the furniture is old and extremely uncomfortable. The carpet is old and dirty so be sure to always wear your shoes around the place. There is a mandatory facility charge per person per day regardless if you plan on using the facilities or not. The hot tub was not working while we were there which is the only thing I wanted to use.

Room was dated but clean. The staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Amenities should be charged each day you use them (some days we weren't there while they were open). Location is good. Hot tub is closed permanently even though it is supposed to have one. Amenities badly need to be updated and cleaned more frequently especially since each guest in your group pays a set fee to use them each day.

This is a cute little resort if only it were not located within a community who thinks they are the cat's pajamas. Eight dollars or nine dollars per day per person makes this resort a very cost in effective trip.

We expected more even though it was out of season. Everything operated on very limited hours or was closed. Furniture was dated and the buildings required some maintenance. Fireplace was unusable due to a previous guest causing a fire in another building. Place may be better in the summer given activities in the area, but not recommended in the winter unless you want peace and quiet.

We booked a stay for the weekend so that my wife and daughters could visit the cabbage patch baby land 10 minutes away. Needless to say, the pool was the only amenity worth using. My son and I wanted to go horseback riding, but apparently you have to book that days in advance. Our condo was outdated by 30 years. The carpet and upholstery was dingy. Had to wear shoes around the place to keep our feet from being dirty. Didn't sleep well on the mattresses or the sleeper sofa. The instructions for checking out were to start the dishwasher, take out the trash, place bed linens and towels in kitchen floor, and put furniture back in place if we moved it. It's the first time I've ever paid to be housekeeping where I stayed! I'm still waiting to get my deposit back...if I get it back!

Great location, old resort with sparse and uncomfortable furniture, cobwebs everywhere outside unit and stairs. Worst of all- no working fireplace-just opening covered with yellow caution tape that was not lovely to look at. Resort made no effort to notify guest of such prior to checkin. Balcony had choice of kiddie picnic table or swing covered i cobwebs. No rockers, adult chairs. We left early.

I was a guest at a timeshare. And there are many timeshares in this general area that share the same amenities. The cabins/condos are definitely dated. And someone went crazy with a label maker - everything has a specific spot and certain things you can't touch. I joked with my in-laws that I was surprised the bathroom didn't have a sign saying which way to wipe. The only redeeming quality is its proximity to Helen, which is always a fun visit.
