Beautiful and very peaceful! Some trash around despite there being trash cans available and a sign clearly stating to throw the trash in the bins. There is a train right by the lake.

Such a cute little park! Great for dogs who love getting messy in the water! & while I probably won't take my kids for the playground, it would be awesome for younger kids (less than 5 probably)
I only wish people were more kind -- there was a LOT of trash scattered around. I will be bringing a trash bag on future visits!

Very nice place and view. Only issue was restrooms which was locked in weekend evening and seemed a bit far away downhill (but not to far) from picnic area.

I live down the street and walk through here daily. Well used area for fishing, playground, and outdoor casual parties but in need of updating and repair. Paved areas need pressure washing or redoing. Could use an additional trash can. Potential to be a pretty place if Flowery Branch brings this up to the level of the rest of their downtown improvements.

If you are looking for a quiet, secluded, fishing pier to catch some sun and some family fun and memories then this is the spot.
Location has a fenced in play area for the kids to swing and slide and you could even let the dogs run around and stretch their legs some.
No Swimming in this area though.
Lots of turtles and some water snakes have been seen swimming in the local nearby water.
If you walk up the tracks some there's some smaller secluded "lakes" on the other side and lots of fish in them as well.
Plenty of Crappie in those smaller "lakes" especially by the Culver pipes ? just requires plenty of walking (100yrds or so)
