This is like a hidden gem!! From the moment we walked in, we were treated well. Adrianna is just amazing and so very pleasant. Appetizers included fried mushrooms & fried green tomatoes (pictured) - so good! We had the pasta with blackened chicken, mahi mahi, squash casserole, and Greek chicken salad. Portions were plenty, food was super delicious. We will be returning to this place!

I ordered the Bacon Blue Cheese Burger prepared at medium temperature. The burger was delicious and juicy! It was a good size burger and quite filling!The fries were good too, and I wish they would've added more fries to the order. I can't speak to the atmosphere, as I ordered for pickup. The woman who brought my food to curbside was courteous and helpful. I've never visited Griffin, GA, before. I was there for a quick stop and needed sustenance, which J. Henry's delivered! If I'm ever in that area again, I will be ordering another burger with fries!

We stopped by as the restaurant was opening on a Sunday. The restaurant was cold but the service was good. We thoroughly enjoyed the chicken and cheese soup! The bread was delicious too! Our only complaint was the fried green tomatoes. The breading was falling off and flavorless. The waitress had it taken off the bill, so no worries. All in all a great small meal!

Horrible experience here the other week. Completely unprofessional, staffed seemed overworked and tired and how could they not be when dealing with such a demanding and terrible boss, who was screaming profanities that the entire restaurant could hear. Food was alright, but disgusting behavior by the owner completely ruined my dining experience and the ambiance. Will not be back. Ever. Do yourself a favor and do not dine here.

What records did you search? I paid in cash. I’m sure your staff are scared to say anything nor can they recall which specific date you were verbally harassing your staff as it’s likely a frequent occurrence. I was driving through town to visit my family and your food came highly recommended, however everything else that occurred during my visit soured the experience. Why would I want to call and be accosted by you. Since I was visiting I had mentioned my experience to other locals and had heard from multiple that you treat staff negatively. It’s really such a same. Best of luck!

Macy was absolutely attentive and a sweet joy. She never let our drinks go empty. She kept us updated on our food and made sure we were happy and cared for. Keep her! She’s definitely worth the visit. Food was okay. Steak was a little dry. Fries came out cold. But I’d try it again. Maybe the kitchen had a bad night.

This place was a bit of a conundrum. The online website made it look fancy, and the food and pricing certainly fit the bill, and even the tables with candlelight and servers dressed in black and white, but the feeling/atmosphere of the place was almost like a hometown diner. It was strange. We were dressed to the nines, but everyone else was in shorts and flip flops and t-shirts. So weird. Also, our server was great, but soooooo casual. Like, leaning on our table, chatting to us when she was bored. It was weird.
Anyway, the food was fabulous! The filet was really expensive, but it was a pretty big filet. The coconut shrimp and sweet potato fries were fabulous.
We also got the fried green tomatoes and they were AMAZING. Yum!

The vegetables and meat soup is just DELICIOUS!!! Me and my family had a great time. Food was amazing, customer service 10/10. First time coming but not last! I recommend this place!
