What a great time! The owner and his grandson were very helpful with instructions to get us started. We did the 3 hour self guided tour. Good communication prior to the trip. The creek is wide and easy to paddle. Fortunately and unfortunately we didn’t see any alligators. Heads up. No cell service unless you have Verizon

Bobbie is the MAN. We showed up for our expedition and waited for a while but nobody showed. We were able to get in touch with Bobbie and he explained that there was a miscommunication and dropped everything to take us down the river! He was super knowledgeable, and made the trip so fun. 10/10 would recommend!

No mosquitos!!! This swamp/creek is amazing! We saw an aligator, turtles, all kinds of rare birds, and beautiful foliage. This is a must for anyone who wants a real southern experience. I will do this every time i visit the south.

We enjoyed our 3 hour kayak rental. They met us there with our kayaks, explained everything, got us set-up and comfortable and let us go enjoy the beauty! Would definitely recommend! I'm sure the guided tour is great too, we just wanted to explore on our own

Don’t pass up the opportunity to kayak with Backwater Expedition!! Brian was great at sharing his knowledge of this creek & he was right when he shared that being out on the water would exceed our expectations!! It was so lush & the water was calm which made for a wonderful & easy time of paddling!! So fun to go through all the amazing Cypress trees & just feel submersed in this one of a kind creek & its mesmerizing beauty!!

This was hands down the coolest thing I did while traveling here! The owners were so nice and accommodating. We rented Kayaks and spent three hours exploring the beautiful Savannah river. I would recommend Backwater Expeditions 10/10 times!

This is a must-do in Georgia!! I did a private tour with Ari and he was so knowledgeable and amazing! Aside from the fact that Ebenezer Creek is the most beautiful and breathtaking place I have ever seen, I got to learn so much about the history of the area, got to see a few little gators and turtles, and I was able to take some gorgeous photos. Even though it rained in the beginning, it couldn’t come close to ruining this awesome kayak trip. I can’t wait to take another tour!
