Seriously, who doesn’t like wine?!? And now you can also get dinner there… we don’t go very often, but when we visit Perry GA we make every attempt to stop in at the Clover Wine Merchant. As Perry continues to expand their restaurant and entertainment scene, Clover adds its own unique flare to the mix.

You can enjoy a wide variety of wine vintages at their shop. They have recently added some fine scotch and bourbon selections.

If you get a chance, take a shot with them for dinner when they offer it. I promise you will not be disappointed!

This is hands down the best place in Perry for an exceptional wine and dining experience. My wife and I had an unforgettable evening here. From the moment you sit down at the high top, you’re welcomed by Michael, a knowledgeable sommelier who takes the time to understand your palate. There are no menus here—just a curated experience where Michael expertly pairs one of their over 250 wines to perfectly match your tastes.

He thoughtfully offers a selection of wines to taste, ensuring you have the ideal one to enjoy before and during your meal. The food was incredible—we ordered the same dish and were blown away by the flavors. The steak we had was easily one of the best we've ever tasted. The appetizers, sides, and overall service were impeccable.

I can’t recommend Clover Wine Merchant enough—10 out of 5 stars! Don’t even bother reading other reviews; just come and experience it for yourself.

A friend recommended this establishment. My mother and I went in today to purchase a wine my friend purchased there. We were greeted by a female with " Hey Ladies". Before my mom and I could get anything out of our mouths, she proceeds to speak with the Causian female and her child behind us. My mom and I were patiently waiting but we're never acknowledged as they continued their conversation and why the lady and child were in the store. My mom and I were disheartened and just walked out.

I think this was the best steak I’ve ever eaten, seriously!! This family run restaurant is so delicious and they really make you feel at home. They have a rolling menu with no printed menu. The waitress told us the 3 appetizers and 3 entrees. It was pricey, but such a great meal!

I first heard about this place from my AirBnB host after first moving to Perry six months ago. She had stopped by to check on something before going there for dinner with her sister who was visiting. I was intrigued as to how Clover would hold up to some of the restaurants I've been to in other places, so I decided that's where I'd go for my birthday dinner.

As is tradition, my parents accompanied me. It was a Wednesday around 6:30, and we were the only table sat, except for a couple who came in after but left before us. Because there is no set menu, everything being offered was memorized by our server, who is also the daughter of the family that owns Clover. Everything she mentioned sounded delicious, and most importantly WAS delicious.

Mike, owner and sommelier extraordinaire, suggested a wine based on what I was eating and what kind of wine I liked, and it couldn't have gone better. He is truly a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wine. Lannette, his wife and the other owner, was seen periodically making her way back to the kitchen to ensure everything coming out of the kitchen was perfect, and it was every time. Each of them stopped over more than once to ensure we were satisfied with our meal.

So yes, the dining experience at Clover absolutely holds a candle to any other upscale place I've been to and in some ways, surpasses them. Yes, it's quite expensive. This isn't a place I'd suggest going if you're on any sort of budget. Be ready to throw caution to the wind and order what you fancy without regard to how much the bill will be at the end, because it will be more than you likely expect...BUT...

If you're looking for the most uniquely delicious, unexpectedly quaint, acutely attentive, yet practically private dining experience you'll ever have in a small town...Clover Wine Merchant is the place in Perry to go.

The food is food network quality. This is the best hidden gem in Middle Ga! Every aspect of this beautiful location is a real treat. The ambience is so relaxing and so unique. The lobster bisque, steak, pork chop & flatbread are out of this world.( I HIGHLY SUGGEST THE SEARED SALMON COOKED RARE!?) I’ve eaten at some of the most fancy restaurants in the US, and this quaint wine shop has trumped every meal that I’ve ever had & far exceeded my expectations of gourmet meals. The bread pudding is a real winner & will have you wanting to lick the plate… while you’re there take a moment to understand where your food came from, and learn in depth about all the wines & champagne this place serves. Don’t be shy! These people will treat you like family!!!

One of my favorite places in downtown Perry! It’s a gem. Cozy, friendly, knowledgeable owners & staff. Love to visit while enjoying a good book. So relaxing. Highly recommend.
