I don't give 5 star reviews very often But Oliver Perry's is deserving all five stars. The staff is not only pleasant but Very knowledgeable. The food was exquisite both in seasoning and Presentation. The wine list is both easy on the budget and yet very tasty on the palate. Dessert was a delectable turtle cheesecake blessed with delicate strawberries. The evening ended blissfully with a 1942 Don Julio cordial. It was so smooth & a perfect closure to a wonderful evening. My name is Bob Gafeney, and my wife, Tina, and I had the pleasure of dining at Oliver Perry’s today. Let me just say, this was an extraordinary experience from start to finish—easily the best meal we’ve had in years. And that’s saying something, as I’ve traveled extensively for Amazon and Microsoft, dining across multiple states!

I ordered the red snapper with mashed potatoes and green beans, while my wife had the shrimp Alfredo. We also started with the garden salad. Every dish was crafted to perfection. The snapper was fresh, tender, and flavorful, paired beautifully with creamy potatoes and crisp, vibrant green beans. My wife couldn’t stop raving about the Alfredo—the shrimp were cooked just right, and the sauce was rich without being overwhelming.

The atmosphere was welcoming and sophisticated, and the staff made us feel like honored guests with their attentive and friendly service. It’s clear this restaurant takes pride in every detail, from the food to the ambiance.

If you’re looking for a dining experience that surpasses expectations, Oliver Perry’s is the place to go. For me, it’s not just a meal but a memory. This restaurant has set a new standard, and we can’t wait to return. Bravo!

My wife and I finally got an opportunity to visit Oliver Perry’s. We are happy to say it did not disappoint and we had a fabulous time. We stopped in around 3 pm just looking to have a cocktail or two, but ended up eating for a late lunch / early dinner.

We sat at the amazing translucent marble topped bar that was lit up from underneath. It looked very cool. The library bookshelves of liquor was also very nice to look at while we enjoyed our afternoon. Our bartender / server was a very nice young man named Austin. He was very attentive and we all engaged in some very nice conversation.

There were a wide variety of bourbons, whiskies and other liquors. We did not look at the beer or wine menu, but will assume there were some good choices there as well.

Our food was nothing short of fantastic. We started off with a beautifully laid out charcuterie board with a variety of nuts, fruits, cheeses, Italian meats and crackers. We also ended up splitting some tenderloin skewers and brussel sprouts.

All in all, it was a very nice experience and we will absolutely go back again!

A fabulous place!
The atmosphere is cozy and very modern. The charcuterie board had local meats, cheeses, pistachios, fruit and crackers. It was amazing.
The portions are generous and the bartenders know their stuff! Try the smoked old-fashioned!!

My husband and I recently visited Oliver's for an impromptu date night, and it turned out to be a major disappointment. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, but what arrived at our table was anything but appetizing. The pasta was dry and lacked sauce, making it nearly impossible to enjoy. The presentation was equally unappealing, with a liquid at the bottom of the bowl that resembled dirty water. I sent the dish back immediately and opted for the shrimp and grits instead.

Unfortunately, the second dish was no better. The shrimp and grits were extremely soupy, with watery grits and unseasoned shrimp that left much to be desired. I didn't think to take a picture of it.

My husband ordered a steak, which he found satisfactory, but the mashed potato side was a letdown. The waitress was nice.

The only part of the meal that met our expectations was the sweet tea. Overall, our experience at Oliver's was far from satisfactory. This place gets a generous 1 star from us.

This is a well-appointed, elegant dining establishment in downtown Perry, GA. The restaurant has a very well-lit, clean decor and the bar area has a cool vibe. We had the Grouper two ways, one with potatoes and green beans, the other with risotto and Brussel sprouts. Started the meal with a Seafood Chowder that was excellent. The bread has a lightly crisp outside and soft on the inside, matched with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, this bread was a wonderful addition to the meal. Had a drink from the bar called Oliver's Tea and it was refreshing. Matt provided excellent service and the owners are excellent hosts. I would highly recommend this place when in or near Perry, GA.

This is a great little spot if you are wanting a bit more of that fine dining experience. I have been here twice and the food is quite good. If I had any complaints, the crab cake was a little soggy, and for the pork chop I had, there was way too much balsamic on my plate. Everything was cooked well and we enjoyed ourselves.

We love this place! It’s our “go to” for a nice dinner out. Service has been amazing each time. Like someone mentioned, once the pricey steak wasn’t done correctly- even after being sent back. The Brie appetizer is delicious and my husband loves the lamb. The only major criticism would be their bar service. Beautiful bar, but each time the drinks are subpar. When I order drinks in a nice place I expect more. Martinis are served in old fashioned champagne glasses and are not great - last time glass was about 1/2 full. Coffee martini served in same glass, nothing coating the rim. Nothing major but they can certainly up their game for a “fine dining “ establishment as far as bar service.
