We went to the new playground and it was really cool. It has artificial grass so it’s very smooth to walk on. Also has a water fountain and accessible bathrooms. It has swings that are accessible for kids in wheelchairs. It two chairs that spin. It has a section that you can make music with a Xylophone, little drums and things and sensory things. Definitely will be coming back!

September '23 update: The accessible (inclusive) playground is complete. It is fully enclosed with locking gates, a concrete path, grass on the edges and a turf surface in the center, two of its own single-stall restrooms, a small picnic shelter, shaded benches, shaded swings, a gliding swing, play structure, interactive sensory elements, and instruments.

OP: We love coming here for both adult and child recreation.
The park is always clean when we visit, including the bathrooms. There are fields for soccer, baseball, and football.
There is a disc golf course and a dog park.
There are courts for tennis and pickleball, but you have to assemble/disassemble your pickleball net since the courts are shared. Nets are in black cases in a large plastic bin in the corner of the tennis courts.
There is a very lengthy paved walking track through the park, though it has an uncomfortable uneven incline on many areas where the path is tilted; this makes it difficult to push wheelchairs. There is an even track around the football field at the lower part of the park. There are no signs saying that you cannot ride scooters, bikes, etc., on the paths.
There is plenty of parking.
There are multiple restroom options within the park, including the newest one next to the splash pad so that the original playground now has a convenient bathroom option.
There is no fee for entry except for sometimes they hold tournaments here, and unless you let them know that you are not here for the tournament, you have to pay to enter. The swimming pool in the senior center building has other payment rules; no diving, just swimming lessons, aerobics, etc.
The original playground surface is wood chips and it has a fence you can close. It is recommended for ages 2 through 12, and there is a small section for kids ages 2-6 and a lot more for the older kids. I would say it is not handicap-friendly, but they are currently constructing one that looks like it is intentionally a very accessible playground, with lots of shade. The splash pad and adjoining restrooms are handicap accessible.
The splash pad has a small shelter with about six picnic tables and a couple of benches. There are benches at the older playground on either side, and small bleachers at the fields. The tennis courts have a couple of benches on them.
There was a non-functional water fountain at the bathrooms by the splash pad the last time I went (April 2023). There was a changing table in the women's bathroom but not the men's. The splash pad has a couple shower heads on the back of the bathroom building for rinsing off that weren't working last I checked (July '23).

We love this dog park. There are two sides, one for smaller dogs, and one for larger dogs. Both sides are large and they are always well-maintained. My dogs are always able to run out all of their energy so that they come home and take a nap.

The facilities as well as patrons are cordial even to the Visiting. I ended up joining a family playing pickleball while scoping out the pool's classes for my Mom.

My littles ones enjoyed there time here. Very spacious, clean, variety of things to play and learn. The swing was the most fun since it feels like zip line swing lol 🙂 we’ll be back again asap
