Can I give Shane and Adventure Tours 10 stars?! Talk about tailor-made pace and sights, impromptu surprises, and even a stop to get some Indian snacks to cater to individual cuisine preferences. I saw the great reviews and booked accordingly, but I could NOT have predicted just how happy and heartwarming this trip would be. Shane felt like part of the family and really treated us all with such care and managed to pack in SO much - from waterfalls to snorkeling to blowholes to hiking, not to mention ALL of the amazing facts about history and native Hawaiian cultural practices. I can keep going, but I just you so much for a really beautiful and inspiring memory that brought our family even closer and kept us laughing and smiling all day 🙂

Shane is unbelievably amazing. He is a knowledgable and easygoing tour guide who puts a lot of love and attention into his tours. He designed a customized adventure packed day for us: Cliff jumping, standup paddle boarding, ocean view hiking and waterfalls. Snacks and water were provided throughout the day, as well as, an amazing local lunch. I cannot rave enough about Shane. Booking with Shane was the best part of our trip to Hawaii. He even gave us some insider info on some beautiful locations to explore during the remainder of our time in Hawaii. I highly recommend him and will definitely be back soon for more adventures!

My Adventure Tours Hawaii trip was an unforgettable experience that exceeded my expectations as I got to see the true Oahu on a recent vacation with my girlfriend. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about both the areas on Oahu that we were visiting and general Hawaiian history. On our adventure, we took a SUP tour in the jungle, found a secluded beach, and visited the legendary Pali pass lookout - all with our guide, Shane. If you're looking for a fun, safe and unique tour of Oahu, then look no further. Something that really impressed me was that Shane setup the administration of our custom trip well before I left the mainland - taking care of many of the details and billing beforehand so I was able to visit the island worry-free about the upcoming tour. The experience was exactly what I was looking for. Professional. Unforgettable. True Oahu.

My family and I had the absolute best time with Adventure Tours Hawaii. Our guide knew all of the secret spots to take us to including a hidden waterfall surrounded by the lushest landscape that truly looked like something out of Jurassic Park where we could cliff jump. They provided lunch (which was superb). They planned the perfect amount of activities for us which we never would have done if not for them! Whether you're looking for a calming, scenic, enjoyable tour/ experience or just an adventure, scenic packed one, definitely book with Adventure Tours Hawaii! Seriously... You won't regret it 🙂

My husband and I booked a tour with Shane whilst staying in Waikiki. We looked at various other tours including larger group tours that were slightly cheaper, however they are very restrictive as to what you see, how long you are there etc. Shane was great, he asked us what we liked and what we wanted to see and tailored the whole day to meet our needs. Not only did we see a huge amount of the island, Shane was informative and really went above and beyond to make sure we hit a variety of great spots at great times. The weather was cloudy and rainy with some sunshine but Shane kept an eye out on the weather and adjusted the plan where necessary to get the best out of our day. It was a highlight of our trip. Shane is a great guy and we would definitely recommend doing a tour with him! A private tour is a great way to see what you want to see and get one on one information and time to ask questions. An amazing trip!

If you want a tour guide for a day around Oahu. Shane @ Adventure Tours Hawaii is ABSOLUTELY your man. We had a blast having him take us on a hiking and snorkeling adventure. He knew all the best places to go that weren't overrun by other tourists. The tour is customized to each group. (For instance, I don't swim - but he found a way to make it so I could still snorkel!) He was relaxed, flexible, knowledgable about the island and the many political, historical, cultural, even "day in the life of" questions we asked.

We have just completed a 3 week trip in America, and Shane's Day tour of Oahu was our favourite day from the entire trip.

Prior to our trip I emailed Shane to explain our trip was a secret that our Family didn't know about, he was fantastic with the entire secret and booked everything separately, separate invoices and separate itineraries to keep the secret.
We worked back and forward with Shane for a few months and customized a tour to what we wanted to see (and it was absolutely perfect). Shane is very prompt and professional in replying to emails and it was such a breeze to organize our tour. At the last minute my partner had to return home and was not able to do the tour with us, I emailed Shane and explained the situation and he gave us a refund for my partners spot no questions asked. It made our unfortunate situation a little more pleasant.

Shane picked us up from our hotel at 10am on the dot as promised. He gave us a quick run down of the day and we were off. We saw everything that we had asked to see and some more.
Shane supplies lunch, drinks and snacks. Lunch was absolutely incredible Chef Dave does an amazing job on lunch.

My favourite part of the day was stand up paddleboarding at sunset, it was the perfect end to a perfect day. Shane takes you snorkeling to such a beautiful place and we were lucky enough to have near perfect visibility and so lucky to have the turtles swimming less than a metre away. The entire day was just incredible

I 100% recommend this trip to anyone. You would not ever be disappointed.

An amazing day hiking up a ridge of the Ko'olau Mountain Range with an accommodating and experienced tour guide, Shane. The hike and the views that it offered were exactly what I wanted and Shane's extremely knowledgeable commentary, friendly conversation, and delicious snacks added a special touch to the trip which made it even more awesome. I highly recommend Shane's tours to anyone visiting Oahu and definitely look forward to experiencing more of them on my return to the island in the future.
