Worth the hour drive from my hotel!

My husband and I did the coffee tour this morning around 9:00 AM on a Friday. We booked the tour an hour or two before. It was so fun.

Our tour guide Rick and our little cat friend Oreo who tagged along the entire time are awesome. The website says the tour is an hour long, but ours was about an hour and a half. It was enjoyable. Rick is very knowledgeable and friendly. The coffee and candy samplers were super good. I never drink coffee black but I did for their samplers (yes, it was that good in my opinion). My favorite was the bold—super tasty. 10/10!! My husband loved the tour, farm, employees, and cats, and Charlie (the golden retriever).

SUCH an adorable place. We loved just hanging around drinking coffee outside while looking out at the beautiful scenery. The tour guide (I think his name was Rick?) was extremely informative on the different types of coffee plants and the processes. The cats and the dog hanging around the place were so freakin cute. And the coffee was delicious!! Loved that we got to try free samples of so many different flavors!

If I could give Heavenly Hawaii Kona Coffee Farm Tours more stars I would. And plot twist: I don’t drink coffee. We decided to add this as one of our excursions because my husband is a coffee aficionado. I went into it thinking I would get great wife points, but little did I know it would be one of the highlights of our trip, especially for me. If you’re considering a coffee tour, this should be your number one (and maybe two AND three) stop. Our Sherpa Townsend was magical and swiftly converted this coffee skeptic into a believer. Every single member of this team is incredible. They clearly love what they do and one another. The property is beautiful, we learned so much, and the coffee is exceptional (my coffee snob husband confirmed, so don’t take it just from a non coffee drinker). If you happen to be staying at the Four Seasons, their Geisha tour is worth every penny and more. And if, this is still your go to coffee tour. I will be telling friends, coworkers and strangers about this experience for years to come!

We had an amazing experience at Heavenly Hawaiian Kona Coffee Farm Tours! We decided to take the $25 Farm Tour after finding them through a Google map search, and it was definitely the right choice. The tour included samples of their beans and roasts, chocolates to start, and Hawaiian tea to finish.

Our guide, Bryce, was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and made sure to point out great details throughout the tour. He even had real examples of what he was describing, and at multiple stops, he offered to take photos for us, which was a nice touch. His passion and expertise truly made the experience memorable.

The farm itself had an organic, thoughtfully arranged layout. The different plants were strategically placed for optimal growth, and it felt like everything on the farm had a purpose. We also got to interact with Charlie, the farm’s lovable golden retriever, which added a personal touch to the visit.

The views from the hoshidana were breathtaking, offering panoramic sights of the farm with views stretching down to the ocean. As for the coffee, it was delicious, and I especially loved the fire-roasted variety. It gave us a true taste of Kona.

The staff went above and beyond, even offering bug spray for the tour, which wasn’t really necessary but appreciated. It was clear that they genuinely care about making your experience special.

All in all, this tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend it for anyone interested in Kona coffee and learning more about the region’s coffee-growing process!

Upon arriving they let you sample the different blends of fresh brewed Kona coffees and give you descriptions about the coffees while you wait for your tour to begin.

You do have to drive up hill for a little bit so be prepared for that.

The views of the ocean are incredible.

Our tour guide Davis was extremely sociable and inviting. He only had worked there for a few months but was very knowledgeable about the coffee varieties, agricultural practices, and roasting processing.

Bonus: lots of cute cats and there was a cute Calico cat that joined our tour.

What an amazing coffee farm and tour.
We didn’t have a tour reservation but they took us right along and while waiting the short time for the next tour we got free coffee samples, a pool venue, a postcard worthy view down the mountain to the ocean and some sweet farm cats to pet!
Our tour guide Bryce was really the best, definitely recommend. He was fun, friendly, and so knowledgeable about not only the coffee plants and coffee production process (which he did) but also all the other plants on the farm - fruits, nuts, bamboo. Learned so much on our tour - and had fun doing it.
Thanks again for a truly 5 star experience.
