We've gone one several different snorkeling tours from Maui over the years. We've usually gone with another company that lost all its boats during the fires, and Kaanapali Ocean Adventures was one of the few that go over to Lana'i, so we thought we'd give them a try. We had a great experience, with Captain Dan and crew Marisa doing a great job to make our trip an enjoyable one. We went to two spots in Manele Bay. The first was a popular spot outside the breakwater of the harbor, which we've been to several times, and it didn't disappoint. However, we did get to go to another spot, Fish Rock, just at the mouth of the bay that was aptly named. The fish population there was tremendous.

Captain Dan and Marisa were very friendly and engaging. We felt safe and well-cared for. We would definitely go out again on their boat (Sanity). We got a bonus on the way over and back, seeing whales in both directions.

Amazing tour!! Was taken to the shark fin rock snorkeling spot in Lani and it was stunning and so much fun! The crew and captain and everyone in the tour were so helpful and considerate and really made the experience amazing! Very grateful I got to be apart of this experience! Thank you!

This snorkeling trip was by far amazing. The entire crew was extremely professional, knowledgeable and fun. Willow was a great host. They took us to two spots to snorkel and both were great. We saw many fish, turtle and octopus. We lucked out and saw many whales while headed there. Will definitely return.

Amazing morning with Captain Dan and Dustin. Snorkeling gear was top notch. We stopped and learned about spinner dolphins. Food and fun on board. Great pre event texts and call to prepare. Buy Dramamine before coming to Maui just in case. Highly recommend for all ages! Better than big boat.

Can’t come to Maui without snorkeling. Jacob, Dan and Victoria are the dream team! Super nice, helpful and patient with kids… and us! Boat ride was fun. Awesome time! I shall see them again on our next vacation.

Dan and Tex were awesome. My wife and I had a blast from start to finish. They took care of us with beverages , snacks, and cool information about the islands and sea life. Laid back but still very safe. Definitely looking to make the customers have a perfect time. Would highly recommend and will definitely go again when I come back to Maui!

The crew was awesome!! They were entertaining and knew so much about the area! The boat ride was super fun - almost as fun as the snorkeling! Water was beautiful too - we saw colorful fish and a turtle. This adventure was so much more than I expected and was the highlight of our trip. Definitely recommend!!

Our ocean adventure was absolutely 100% worth every moment!! The whole crew and Captain Dan were AWESOME!! Very friendly, down-to-earth and accommodating! Took us to breathtaking clear waters to snorkel, even swam with a turtle! Trip was complete with plenty of snacks and goodies to keep us full. Definitely a MUST DO activity if you want a beautiful boat ride and some fun in the sun with gorgeous snorkeling and landscapes! Highly recommend this cool crew!!
