Candice was great!! She was professional and a wealth of information when I was looking for a whale watching excursion. We could not have been any happier with what she recommended. Absolutely perfect. I feel as though she really listened to me when I explained what we were looking for. I feel like we got two wonderful cruises in one. A beautiful sunset cruise with good food, plus seeing whales up close. Very clean boat and wonderful crew. Loved every minute!

I would NOT recommend Maui Vacation Adventures or Candice to anyone travelling to Maui. There are many concierge services you can choose from in Maui and the services provided by this company and Candice are awful. We lost over $800 on two trips. Candice was extremely rude and her level of care was not acceptable.

We booked two excursions — one was a rafting excursion and the other was a fishing excursion. When we got to the raft, the guys told us it looked like an extremely rough day and my husband hurt his back golfing a few days before was not comfortable on going out on the pontoon boat when the conditions were expected to be extremely rough. We called Candice and she did not seem to care and said the company said it was a great day and not rough. Definitely a communication issue.

The second excursion we booked was a fishing trip and apparently the boat we had booked had scheduled maintenance and didn’t tell us until the week of our trip (this was booked months in advance). Candice emailed me a day prior to the trip and said it was cancelled but we would be refunded. This was disappointing because due to the timing, we had blocked off that day to go fishing and we weren’t able to reschedule for later in our trip. Also, we have yet to be refunded. Candice said it would take 7-10 business days for the refund, and it has exceeded this time frame. Candice was unable to provide a transaction receipt showing the refund was made, despite several requests.

This company also showed up on my credit card as ‘World Class Concierge’ which is ‘permanently closed’ when I googled the company. Overall, it doesn’t seem like Candice or this company are well run and may be a scam. Save your money and book directly with vendors or a company with a longer track record.

Candice was Phenomenal. He attention to detail was a greasy deal of help, she got us booked on exactly what we were looking for. We took the west Maui/Molokai helicopter ride and then a local luau where the food and show was amazing.
I can highly recommend Candice if you’re looking for something to don while in Maui.

Candice was so helpful in making recommendations and reservations for our trip to Maui. We had some ideas from searching ourselves but she offered insights and other ideas that were probably better than had we done it ourselves. Best tours on Maui: Valley Isle Road to Hana! She also made the reservation for the Old Lahaina Luau and got us a great table at Mama's Fish House. It was a great week!

I would like to take this moment to thank Candice at Maui Vacation Adventure for booking all of our activities while my family was visiting me here on Maui. She even provided a surprise bottle of Champagne ? and a celebratory card and flowers per my request for my parents anniversary waiting for them in their condo. She really takes time to make sure everyone is getting what they want. I keep her number handy because I have friends and business acquaintances visitors constantly coming to Maui and asking me questions about snorkel adventures, Road to Hana (a must do) and other boat excursions and tours. She also handles requests for grocery delivery and has it in the condo prior to the guests arrival which is great after a long day of travel. Candice has excellent information on all the details on the ins and outs of Maui so this saves me a lot of time to just recommend her services so I don’t have to explain all the details to all of my visitors coming and going from Maui. I got a thank you cards in the mail because of her services that my friends were so delighted to have access to Candice as their personal concierge who arranges and books it all with an itinerary for their trips to Maui. Keep her on speed dial is my recommendation.

Candice is great as setting up people and families with the best activities and she always has the best ideas and "local" spots to recommend. The banyan tree divers were superb! You were right! We didn't have time for the massage therapy session but there is always next time.
