We've stayed there several times and have always enjoyed our stays! Very peaceful and relaxing and most times you never know anyone else is even around. We understand the business aspect and we are hoping the upcoming expansion of the new and future cabins doesn't change the quiet atmosphere. Again, we love our stays and we'll be back!!!

Absolutely stunning cabins. We have been a few times and it is always perfect w the lake view, fishing, the turtles, the hot tub, the peace and quiet. We were visited by a family of raccoons every night which we loved seeing

This is our go-to cabin destination! We have been to others in Illinois and Missouri, only because Woodlands was booked up. We love the privacy, but not so far away from Carbondale or the State park, the wineries or the other attractions. We live 2 1/2 hrs away, which is great, no long travel time to get there. We would recommend this cabin getaway to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway ?

The Woodland Cabins are the best! We needed a quiet getaway and our cabin was perfect. Very clean, everything we needed was there and check in was a breeze. Can’t go wrong here for a relaxing getaway. Oh! Don’t forget to feed the birds and turtles! They’ll love you for it.

This was our second time staying at Woodland Cabins. It is so relaxing here. It has become one of my favorite places to come. Loved feeding the turtles! We actually ventured out and hit a few of the wineries which are very convenient to get to. The cabin is very clean and stocked with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable!

We loved the Southern Comfort cabin! It was so cozy. It had everything we needed for a short romantic getaway to celebrate our 25th anniversary! The cabin was very clean. The view from our balcony was gorgeous. The hot tub was perfect. If you are on the fence about this one, go for it! I highly recommend Woodland Cabins!

There was a binder with important information about checkout, the hot tub, grill, and other cabin-related things.

We received several emails and texts about our stay, deposit, and checkout. They were very friendly and helpful.

Even though there were other cabins around us, we felt secluded. They did a great job with the placement of the cabins!

The inside of the cabin was immaculate. We loved the privacy and the little walkway down to the pond with a seating area and fire pit. The location is great if you're looking for a getaway that's close to town but still feels like the country. The only reason we didn't give it the final star was because the internet service was very slow, so maybe not a great spot for a working vacation. Overall, though - great experience. The frog serenade and the turtle promenade make it extra special.
