Kate recently hosted a cooking party for my daughter's 8th birthday party at our house. The group of girls really enjoyed making Kate's famous dough pretzels and sushi from scratch! I was in awe of her as she multi-tasked between instructing and managing the kitchen without a sweat. I would recommend her in an instant to anyone who is on the fence. She loves what she does, and you can definitely tell!

Kate hosted a birthday party at our home. We were so happy with how the party went! The kids (elementary school ages) absolutely loved making soft pretzels and cookie sandwiches and the end results were delicious. Kate is a kind and magnetic instructor, and handled a group of 12 energetic kids like a pro! She was also very accommodating, modifying recipes for food allergies/restrictions. I'd highly recommend Kate!

We had our daughter's 11th birthday party at our house and Kate made the night a tremendous success! My daughter loves pasta, so Kate suggested she and the girls make homemade pasta with pesto! The pasta and sauces(yes, she made a simple brown butter and sage for any picky eaters) were delicious! It was a hands on experience where every girl was doing part of the pasta making and sauce creating! She has a fantastic way with kids where each person is engaged and active during the evening. The girls really learned step by step how to make, knead, and roll out pasta. Kate was easy to communicate and plan with prior to the party. She also brought all materials needed and cleaned up! It was a fantastic birthday party!

Kate has hosted multiple birthday parties and cooking classes at our home. They are always a huge hit with the kids (4 - 10yrs), and the food they make is amazing. We still make a bunch of the Kate recipes regularly, and it reminds us of the amazing events she's led.

Kate is an outstanding cooking instructor! Over several months, she collaborated with me to organize a private cooking class for a friend's bachelorette party. I expressed interest in a Japanese-themed class, and she eagerly embraced the idea, being experienced in Japanese cuisine. Throughout the planning process, Kate was incredibly flexible and accommodating to all my specific requests.

Given that the event took place in an AirBnB with an uncertain kitchen set-up, Kate thoughtfully brought everything we needed—from ingredients to cookware and even knives and cutting boards. While the rest of us enjoyed card games, she set up the kitchen area seamlessly. Kate arrived at 5:30pm and she graciously stayed with us until nearly 10:30pm. After the class, she shared the recipes she had developed for our session.

Kate was not just a wonderful instructor but also a delightful person to spend time with. She managed to teach our group of 5 a tremendous amount about Japanese cooking, making the entire experience educational and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Amazing Summer Camp Cooking Session with Kate! Kate made sure each of our little chefs had a favorite dish included during the week. The kids were hands-on and engaged with every recipe. They learned or developed new prep and cooking skills, and ended their days with pride and full bellies! Kate brings in all ingredients and necessary cooking/baking tools making it super easy to host in your home! This was a wonderful experience all around and our chefs are already looking forward to next Summer with Kate! ?‍?

Kate did a fabulous job teaching my daughter’s Girl Scout Troop how to make Veggie Bean Soup with Pasta and Flatbread. It was a very large group (25 11 years! Yikes!), but Kate had everything under control! She was extremely knowledgeable and made it so much fun for the girls. The dishes were delicious. Kate’s class has inspired my daughter to make more meals at home … which has made me very happy! Bravo Kate!
