The DISC is a good place to exercise. It has nice workout areas with a variety of equipment, including: free weights, weight machines, ellipticals, treadmills, stationary bikes and rowing machines. There is a 1/8 mile track for walkers and runners.

The facilities are clean and quite nicely organized. The weight room, in particular, is rarely crowded. I may have to move to another machine, but I never have to wait in line to workout.

The fees are reasonable. Discounts are available to students, Millikin University alumni and seniors.

There are a couple of drawbacks. One is holiday and summer hours are somewhat restricted. The other is staff is rarely available to explain equipment functions or monitor activities. The positive factors outweigh these negatives for me.

I recommend the DISC.

Was good, we went to the ijas science fair held at the state level. The place was good but the biggest problem was the ventilation. There were a lot of people inside and the outside temps went up to around 80 F. The whole place started heating up like an oven and lack of fans and cooling systems didn't help. I wouldn't blame the facility more than the organizers of the event.

The sports center is a beautiful and well kept up facility. We were there for the Illinois State Science Fair. Unfortunately the Science Fair was run by a bully. My wife is a Science Teacher and member of IJAS with students exhibiting and she was welcome. I unfortunately was not. I am 70 yrs old with ambulatory issues just trying to find a place to sit while waiting for my wife to finish up. I was told by this bully that "there is no place in this facility for you to wait!"

the referees did not know how to referee. they weren’t calling travels or anything they were calling 2 point shots as 3 point shots and they over all weren’t good.they need to learn how to LLL LIVE LAUGH LOVE! this is upsetting as my daughter played and was very good. i will be contacting my lawyers. #karen #basketball #singlemotherisupset #angry #disappointed #done #upsetting
