We have been to many of the historical homes of Presidents and lanarks. The history you learn by visiting these landmarks is relevant. This home is really interesting because it came from a Montgomery Ward Catalog. The staff was knowledgeable and passionate about the home and Reagan as President. Donations are accepted no tickets needed

Very well restored home full of extensive Reagan knowledge. Not sure if I agree with his public policy at all, but I like history and this was definitely a neat stop.

The best part is that it’s exclusively donation funded. That way, if you don’t necessarily agree with what the foundation that operates this attraction agrees, because you like men or women’s rights or have thought about what your gender is more than most people, you can donate an amount you’re comfortable with, while still seeing an excellent piece of history.

Was impressed with Reagan's home. Presentation was well put together and very informative. I had never been here before although I lived about 30 miles away. I would say to local people if you haven't been here get it done. No excuse not to visit here. Only asks for donation rather then entry fee. Deserves a donation. Place is well kept and people volunteer their time to keep it up. If you are passing through definitely stop. Well worth your time!

When I see the house and go inside ,i feel like I'm in the time of the president when he was young. It's nice to read all the good things that he said. The first thing I remembered is when he said Mr; Gorbachev turned down the wall. I bought a shirt and I love it.

There are two buildings, visitor center and Reagan home. The visitor center has a 15 minute movie with a lot on his growing up in Dixon. Reagan spent his formative years here. There are also displays to read on various decades of his life. There is a free tour of the well maintained home. Both tour guides were enthusiastic and gave interesting side stories of Reagan’s family life. We spent about 90 minutes total. Cost was free. Not tremendously large or full of artifacts, but a nice facility well worth your time.
