Stopped in yesterday on our way to visit family for Thanksgiving. I had contacted the owner (Rick) a week ago to ask if they’d be open the Wednesday before the holiday and he agreed to do so. His partner, Dave, met us at the museum and was happy and excited to show us around and tell us about so many of the vehicles that they have here. He told us tales of how many of them were acquired and their history before being acquired. We were also surprised to hear that almost of these cars still run. Amazing! As a GenXer, this place took me back to high school and college. I was able to place a person and memory in almost every one of these cars. A time capsule. While the 80s are arguably the worst decade for vehicles, the nostalgia of these underwhelming cars runs deep. Time has forgotten most of them (for good reasons) but the museum has managed to save some for us to enjoy. If you’re traveling on old Route 66, be sure to add this place yo your agenda.

The museum is owned and operated by two friends with a passion for 80s automobiles. One of the owners, Dave, took us around the museum for a tour and then allowed us to walk around freely. My group of friends spent about three hours there reminiscing about cars our families owned and listening to the stories about how each car was acquired. This place is a hidden gem and if 80s cars and memorabilia is your thing, you need to check this place out. Just ans FYI, the museum is operated on cash only donations.

We came from the city and had a wonderful time. Called in advance as we were supposed to come closer to closing time and David kindly stayed open for us. He also showed us around, all the cool models and also shared many interesting points. It’s really fulfilling seeing people do something they love and are passionate about and share that with others. Really a hidden gem if you’re into quirky and cool cars you dont see much around anymore

Excellent little destination. It is across the street from the Berkots Grocery store. It is located near Historic Route 66 and there is a 66 themed Restaurant near it as well. The Curator was knowledgeable about the cars and he is really passionate about them. These are mostly the regular cars you saw all of the time that no cared to really care about but the people that owned these took care of them. All cars are survivors and generally only minor repairs. It was great and fun time. The museum is free but donations are accepted.

Visited about a week ago and David was awesome! He gave us a tour of the museum and gave us detailed histories about anything we asked about and more. This was definitely worth the trip and has a ton of unique cars from your average car museum.

Perfect place for 1980s car nerds to see some rare survivors of the Malaise era. Had a friendly tour guide talk me through the collection and share stories - great visit!

A wonderful place if you like weird, but also mundane time capsules. If you're a fan of any 70's/80's car, there's bound to be something here that excites you. Not only that, but there's plenty of tools, toys, and other miscellaneous items on display. No entry fee, but a donation is recommended, especially since the guys running the show operate this place as a hobby, and not for profit. The owner mentioned something about opening an extra room once renovations are complete, so I'm eagerly awaiting that to be finished so I can visit again.
