As a Pokémon fan I love going to Slackers because they have some really good cards, recently I got a shiny Ralts card for six dollars, an old anniversary holo Venusaur card for free (it was Black Friday) and a Glaceon vstar for 23 dollars which they were all at a pretty reasonable price

We drove a long way to come here and I was incredibly disappointed. I don't get the impression that Alton had a large video game following in the past. This location's selection of used games was laughable and unimpressive. They had every useless title you can't remember but no games of any worth or merit. I feel bad for the gaming industry, its taken a hit of sad and epic proportions. Moral of the story? Stop in as a novelty if you're into that sort of thing, but don't expect to walk out of there with anything of interest. Unless of course you happen to need a Nintendo GameCube microphone to play Mario Party 6.

They said they do refunds but they don't I spent 55 on a off brand controller but I decided to return it the next day but they didn't accept it go here if you want to be lied to ?

Excellent service when it comes to Card gaming needs and some classic video games. Big fan of the trade in service. It feels very fair.

Staff are rude and place sells damaged goods at Over mark up. Place is kinda dirty and the mangers all think they actually know what they are talking about... the last 3 visits have been frustrating and they were unprofessional cashier would rather talk to a customer then ring me out and when I asked for help with a item she told me to YouTube for a video ( on a product they were selling ) avoid at all cost ...go to Glen carbon slackerz way better
