This is a small historic site right off the road with parking for about 4 vehicles. You can read about the history and take in the views of the River while you are here and pass over the bridge built by the US Army.

I love living here at Fortarmstrong. I enjoy cooking downstairs in the activities room. Rachel has lots of stuff for us to do all the time. I enjoy her and the thing we do.

No offense to anyone's sensibilities on this one but it's average. Very little is allowed to be explored. However, the views of the eagles and hawks during the migration seasons are amazing.

Hit and miss due to the season, interesting historically, little to explore. Nice for walking, running, or biking.

BIX RACE WEEKEND. I chose to wait for the barge to pass the gate. The waiting time was not bad. The scenery was peaceful, clean, and beautiful. Would recommend watching the barge pass the gate.

A cool little recreation of a fort. If you're passing by its a nice place to stretch your legs for 5 minutes.

Very nice. Nice place to sit for a few as the barges go through the lock and dam. Seagulls and herons fly by. In the winter you can watch the eagles fishing. ?
