My brother was having a birthdays part for my niece and he was charged 100 for a party room thinking that included all the swimmers. When we showed up, they informed us it did not and we would have to pay $7 per person which is a good price. What they failed to mention is the pool closed at 6 and I had arrived at 4:30 for presents and cake. When we were getting ready go swimming they advised us they would be closing at 6. We asked if we could get a refund since we had not gone swimming. The older lady at the front desk told us we could not get a refund since we were back in the party room. I advised her the party room was paid for separate and she reused to still give a refund. I went back and talked to my brother who also informed me he had already covered everyone’s swimming so I my daughter and myself were double paid for. The reason for the one star is due to customers service. The facility itself is very nice I would just suggest getting details and making sure not to pay until you are sure as they will not inform you or refund you.

Came to a hockey tournament over the weekend. What a terrible organization, the refs and the rec center staff allowed this group of young adults to yell vulgar things all night. I’m not sure if it’s representative of the town, but I would not come back to this city, let alone this ice rink on account of them. Zero respect or dignity.

I can only wonder based on my interaction with the staff today if there is a leadership problem at this organization. Multiple weeks in a row now there has been changes to schedules that have NOT been posted. When asked about the mysterious change, you’re met with hostility, deflection and down right indignation regarding it. Was told “it’s not our problem we passed on the information…” — today by an individual whom was standing outside of the front desk check-in area. Couldn’t help but wonder how many others were misled as well, as I walked to the parking lot only to be met by multiple individuals that were just as confused as to why I was leaving, as I shared the news of the schedule alteration — strangely a SURPRISE to them as well. Being as this is the only Rec Center in town they clearly have more right to operate than responsibility to whom they operate for.

This place is a joke, from the front desk worthless workers to the supervisor or whatever she is. You leave voicemails to plan a party. Don’t call you back. Keep trying for more than 3 weeks. Also when we think and tell us that we got it worked out. They calls us back, even tho they told us we got the day and place for the party, just to tell us never mind someone else booked it at the same time we did so we aren’t able to get that day. They wasted our time and ruined our son’s plans. Good job Wreck center.

Need pool renovations? Fine. But don't go about it like this. DON'T close it in the middle of summer. And actually mention it on your website! The hours are posted on the website, so we loaded the kids up and we all were very sad when we realized they couldn't swim today. Not good business practice.

I loved playing basketball here. It was amazing. They always have basketballs for you and a great court. The only thing that I don't like is how weird their hours are.

Poool closed til Jan 2024
I only came here for a shower. Five dollars. Tons of showers but it’s only varying degrees of hot and scolding. If you are cold, you have to go to a totally different stall for cold water only. I even asked beforehand if they were temperature control because I read other reviews. The front desk assured me that they are temperature controlled. She did not say that it was just for shades of hot beware.
