While visiting Anderson, we stopped here for a short hike with our pup. It seems like this trail is primarily for mountain bikers, and we met several while there. All of them were super courteous. The trails were very easy to follow, well marked with lots of turns and interest. There were a few short steep inclines or declines, but nothing crazy. If walking, I think weekends would get a bit hectic with bikes. Overall, a good little nature walk on a nice weekday afternoon.

1st time to Rangeline Nature preserve. I really enjoyed the walk and pleasantly surprised at the size and many trails. The paw paw tree groves were impressive. There are a lot of improvements that could be done here. This place has much potential if it were to be managed by native plant lovers. The meadows could be filled with native wildflowers. I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed my visit.

on our second visit we did the intermediate route and it took us one-and-a-half hours for about 4.5 miles.
on our first visit we walked the expert route and it took us 3 hours for about 7 miles. We did take quite a few photos and did a short detour to the river. There aren't any big hills, but lots of little ones and many of those are steep. I think if we put our heads down we could do this route in 2 hours.
This has quickly become our favorite natural walking trail north of indy. there is endless variety as the trail twists and turns it's way around the park. It's a real treat for the eyes and senses. the little hills are great excersize without being over taxing. We are looking forward to exploring the other routes.

Love this place. Its a great place to bring your kids and to go on hike. Just remember to move a side for the bicycles. The signs are clearly posted letting you know what trail you are on. I enjoyed my time here and I will definitely come back again.

Absolutely beautiful place! Perfect for biking or walking the trail. Took my 4 younger kids with me and they totally loved it! (Actress 7-10) Roughly about 2 miles for the novice trail. A great break not far from home!
