Harmony assisted living has exceeded our expectations! Lyndsay (Sales Director) made the transition for my mom’s move into her apartment super easy. The entire staff has been welcoming and accommodating. The community is beautiful, clean, and inviting. Harmony has so many options for the entire senior community to participate in. The food is amazing! I cannot say enough good things about Harmony at Avon. When your parent starts to need more assistance in their daily living it can be a difficult decision to make. Harmony made the decision an easy one. I viewed several senior communities and non compared to Harmony. Highly recommend!!!

My mom and I toured Harmony at Avon last week with Lauren. The facility is nicely appointed with a wide selection of apartments. Lauren showed us a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in the Independent Living section that had a tremendous amount of storage space and a beautiful sun room. We also viewed a smaller 2 bedroom in the Assisted Living building that while it was small, there was ample storage. The restaurant was closed when we toured but menus were posted and the food choices were really appealing. Three meals are included with Assisted Living and one meal is provided for Independent Living. The activities calendar was filled to the brim with exercise, games and social activities. A full gym and billiards room rounded out the tour.
Harmony at Avon is definitely a great choice if you're ready to take the next step.

Harmony has been a blessing for my mother. She moved in 6 months ago and has been treated like family from the staff and the residents. Mom needed a clean, friendly environment. Harmony had so much to offer from her nice new one bedroom apartment with kitchen including granite counters and Stainless steel appliances. Fun activities from friendly trips to lunch to even going downtown to a Broadway show with Harmony transportation. Daily activities are nice too! She loves the residents pub get together and bingo too. Glad to see her decision to make this transition in life go so well. It’s not an easy decision for any family but Harmony has been helpful for our family knowing she made the right decision.

Happy Blessings. My husband and I decided to tour Harmony today. It was a wonderful experience and the apartment layout was beautiful. Mrs. Lauren was a complete delight and the tour was amazing. Worst place to have your loved one. The Memory Care unit is very unsafe and should be shut down immediately. The staff is more worried about their phones than the residents. They are rough and do not care about your loved one. Not to mention the language barrier with residents whose cognition is already decreased. Take a look at the residents if you visit this place and notice how many have multiple bruises. You will receive calls weekly of your loved one falling because staff does not pay attention to them. Your loved one may or may not receive their medications, they may or may not be fed if unable to feed themselves, they will not stay hydrated, bathed or toileted. They say they do activities but we didn't see any happening excepted being plopped in front of the TV. We personally have filed a few complaints with the State Board of Health in the short amount of time my mom was there and they were validated and received fines. Look them up on the State Board of Health Website and review before placing your loved one here. The 5 star reviews that are on the website are from previous Executive Directors and Sales and Marketing staff which makes them look like a 5 star facility. in 1.5 years we had 3 Executive Directors, 5 Directors of Nursing, 4 Activity Directors and multiple other staff. Run and do not take the chance on having your loved one compromised by allowing Harmony at Avon take care of them.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. We moved my grandma in February and by September she passed away. The memory care is HORRIBLE. My grandma was pushed down by another resident causing her to break her hip and she never recovered after her surgery. The resident that pushed her, pushed several others down and is still allowed to live there. Do your research. I worked in senior living and trusted a marketing team member there when he said he would put his loved one there. DO NOT risk it. Go somewhere else. Staff turnover is the worst there. Pretty building is all they have going for them.

My mom is a resident simply because it’s convenient to our house. The communication is terrible, the staff turnover is continuous. We are lucky mom doesn’t require more care. We pay over $3,000 a month and truly do not get what we pay for. I’ve made numerous complaints and hear nothing back OR get promised that things will Improve but it never happens. If we had better options and my mom didn’t love her apartment, we’d be making a change. It’s truly a pig with lipstick on it. So disappointing! Corporate is out of touch and is difficult to even contact.
