The Chesterton Art Center is a great place to find works from a variety of local artists for sale, as well as seeing shows from local and regional artists and art groups; or to take classes, and workshops for adults as well as kids of all ages. It's a treasure for Chesterton, Porter County, and all of N.W. Indiana. Stop in and enjoy some art!

Took a glass fusing class here, and we had a blast!! She did a great job of explaining the whys and hows, provided some personal examples, gave us tips and tricks, and then just let us get creative. Would totally come back! The finished products were cool to see and take home :))

My daughter has been taking art classes here for a few years now. I am so impressed with the children's program. Ms. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and so great at working patiently with the children. They study a new artist each month and bring home multiple projects using a variety of media. It is worth it to purchase a family membership. You then get a discount on the art classes. Cookies and canvas events are something my daughter always looks forward to! Chris in the office is super kind and fun to see!

This historic building near downtown Chesterton boasts a lively, active art community! Each month a new exhibit hangs on the walls, and each week new classes are run for art students of all ages! A great gem in NW Indiana!

A great local art gallery for local artists in the Duneland area. This is a really talented community and the Chesterton Art Center has been an important part of that for years, offering classes for artists of all size and displaying all kinds of art.

Not a lot of parking, though.

Had a gallery show opening. Beautiful show, well executed. Several artist were available from the artist co-op that was showing. Very warm and inviting.
