My husband and I went here for Valentine's Day/ my birthday. We had the England themed room. It was wonderful with all the personal touches from personalized decorations, homemade cookies to handmade soap. We reserved dinner reservations there, which is open to the public( with reservations as well). It was fantastic. The salmon and steak were delicious. Top notch. The sides we could have shared but it was nice to try different ones for the first time. We play pool after dinner which was fun. Breakfast was just as good with several choices to choose from. Andrew and Elizabeth were very welcoming and you can tell this is their passion. This was in the tops for a wonderful get away. We will be back and recommend to everyone we know.

We were staying one night at the Whittaker Inn and it was lovely! Elizabeth's (owner) hospitality is second to none. The Inn's attention to detail in everything from the themed rooms, the homemade cookies with your check-in bag, all the extras in the bathroom, snack and beverage bar area available and free of charge anytime, the delicious breakfast and service, were spectacular. We had outside events going on and didn't have much down time at the Inn, but the amazing amount of games and the pool table would have been fun to utilize. Highly recommend staying here!! Thank you Whittakers!

A stay at The Whittaker Inn is always a highlight of our time in West Lafayette! We have stayed there several times, and it's always great. When you arrive, you are welcomed with smiles and a roaring fireplace (if it's in cooler months). The rooms are always very clean, and we enjoy trying different themes. They are inspired by different trips the owners have enjoyed—each different. We love the charming touches in each. The breakfast in the morning is outstanding! It's such a treat to enjoy a home-cooked breakfast, and there's something for every taste on the menu. We highly recommend a stay at The Whittaker Inn!

This was our second stay at The Whittaker Inn. The rooms are very comfortable and we like having breakfast served in our room. We enjoyed dinner one evening in the dining room and it was excellent. We invited family who live in Lafayette to join us for dinner and everyone was pleased with their meal. The owners and staff are professional and pleasant. We'll be back for another stay when we return to visit family in the area.

We made an impromptu stop here (booking the room only days in advance) and what a wonderful albeit brief stay. This is a hospitality gem across the board--comfort, grace, friendly staff, quiet, good food, and small delights like from scratch desserts. Spoil yourself with a multi-night stay because you will regret having to leave! I'm coming to see the Christmas decor next!

Excellent inn. Excellent service. Extremely clean and inviting. Great location near the Purdue University campus. The included, cooked to order breakfast, was definitely a highlight.

This place is absolutely great. Colorful spacious rooms, stocked night kitchen, festive shared spaces (including pool table!), and delicious breakfast in bed all for a reasonable price. All the advantages of a B&B without the hovering or doilies. I'd much rather give my money to this local couple than a hotel chain!

My wife stayed here in the Indiana suite the night before our wedding. Elizabeth and Andrew really went out of their way to make the whole experience special for her. We were both excited to come back here 3 years later and stay in the same room together. The Inn is close enough to west Lafayette that you don't feel like you're trudging back to the hotel, yet far enough away that it feels like a country inn. It has Dragonfly Inn vibes for those that know. Our room was clean, but homey with all the little touches that they put in. They bed is comfortable, and the jacuzzi tub in our suite is very relaxing! We did not have a chance to eat in the restaurant this trip, but we do plan on coming back to try it on another occasion. Having breakfast brought to our room was very nice though, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend the French toast and the homemade peach jam!
