A beautiful hike with lots of wildlife! In only 1 1/2 miles of trails that I walked there was more to see than I would have believed possible as close as this is to Lafayette. I will have to go again and hike more of the trails.

Beautiful nature area here in West Lafayette. There's plenty of trails for walking, both in the open grassy area as well as through the woods, plus some paved paths suitable for bikes. It's not uncommon to see lots of wildlife, including deer, squirrels, chipmunks, turtles, and many species of birds. Plenty of parking, and bathrooms are available at the nature center. If you love nature, walking, or taking photos this is the place for you!

It's a great place for a stroll with your friends or just a bike ride. Would recommend wearing shoes since the grass can have small insects that cause bumps. Please explore smaller trails as they lead to white picturesque views within the Bog.

One of my favorite spots around here. Very nice walking and biking trails by the lake and into the woods. It’s quite a resourceful place for bird watchers. In winter you’d see thousands of migratory birds landed on the frozen lake and flying over the lake.

Surprisingly busy little park with nice walking trails in and out of the woods. Ruby the screech owl is the star of the park, with many people stopping to take its picture.
