Reserved a lift, asked if it had been charged, and was told yes. Arrived, not charged. The person who had checked it was one of the store owners. He told the person I was talking to it was good. Every time I have ever gone her for a lift, it is not ready. They gave me the 55' lift since the 45' wasn't good. I was informed the tongue lock on the 55' couldn't be locked with a safety pin. And was missing a hook for the safety chain. Safety isn't really a thing to them. The owner says it's good, so I suppose that says a lot for the store and the way it's run. The company providing the lifts should pull the out before the store owners get someone killed.

This was my first visit to this particular Ace Hardware. I just stopped in to have a spare key made. My visit was very pleasant and delightful. I was very happy I chose here as opposed to a big box store specifically because as soon as I walked through the door I was asked if there was anything I needed help with and this day I definitely needed an employee. I know without a shadow of a doubt any other store it would have taken me more time to find an employee to help me than it took me here for my entire visit. Also the key worked the first time. Thank you everyone at this store as this day I was just on my way home from the doc and I surely did not feel up to walking through a huge store and going through all that is the box store nightmare. I'm disabled I prefer the smile and can I help you as opposed to trying to chase employees down huge isles.

I was asked right away what I needed help with. I had four keys made, very reasonable price, friendly staff, and was in and out in approximately a half hour.

Visited twice over the course of a weekend. First visit I came to get a new lawn mower blade. The store associate was sitting in a lawn chair when I arrived and seemed annoyed that I asked him where the item was. Picked what I thought it was (it wasn’t - my fault for not looking prior to purchasing), and then the associate had to cash me out which again, seemed like he didn’t want to. Just an overall bad attitude. I had never been to this Ace and it wasn’t a great experience. Ended up picking a different store to get the right item.

Now I needed to return said blade that didn’t fit. Was actually dreading it because I didn’t want to deal with the first guy again. But it was a different person who was pleasant and courteous - got my return processed quick!

Overall, seems like a nice but small Ace location. But there is better ones in the metro area.

I ordered an ego weed/blower system paid cash and they still haven’t received it 3 weeks ago. They would not work with me. They were very discourteous and I have been a loyal customer for many years.

What a great store! Quaint, easy to get in and out, stocked well, and staffed well!

I like the feel and ease associated with a true "hardware" store rather than a huge box store. Buy local and buy with confidence!

The first day it snowed this year my snowblower wouldn't start. They got me all fixed up the same day and back together. Well the night they brought it back to me I accidentally drove over a snow covered extension cord on the back patio that was connected to the christmas lights. A 100 foot extension cord whipped and wrapped around the auger and was so tight I couldn't get it loose. Called Ace and they got right out here picked it up, unstuck and running again in a few hours. Greatest service I've ever had. I will be doing all of my hardware and small engine service at this location.
