The room was nice but could have been cleaned up a little better. Random hairs still in the bathroom area upon arrival. Reviews I read suggested the shower was nice but hard to figure out... I'd have to agree. Overall a nice stay despite minor inconveniences.

Room was incredible. Bathroom was nice and new, and really clean. Would definitely stay here again. Attendant at check in was awesome. Attendant at check out seemed too busy to care about her computer than my stay. Won't let that ruin my stay though.

Overall not a bad place, pretty steep rates for the location. The room was nice but the pillows were very uncomfortable, also the heater is very loud when it kicks on. As shown in the included photo this nice pile of dirty sheets sat in front of my door for over a day

Everything during my stay was fantastic! From service to room cleanliness. Michael was working the front desk when I checked in at night and he was very helpful and kind. Would highly recommend and stay there again if presented the opportunity

Update: shortly after posting this I received a phone call stating my refund had been issued. Sad that I had to post online to get a response but it was taken care of.
Stayed there last week for one night and was charged for two. Reservation was only ever for one night. Mistakes happen, no problem so I called. Was told only the manager could help me do transferred to her and left a message. Repeated this 3 times and never got a call back from the manager even though I was told she was in her office when I was transferred. Great location and rooms and I always stay there when I’m in Ames but about to cancel my upcoming stay as the manager clearly has no integrity.

The rooms are clean and accommodating but the pillows and beds are not great. Woke up with a super stiff neck and back pain. They should also offer a shuttle to the airport. The building has some areas that could use some maintenance. The stairs are o the Looby are shallow and steep. The food also starts at 6:30 am so leaving for the airport early you get pretty hungry. Staff were helpful though. I also had a great view of a wall and roof. The roof was covered in plastic. Apparently more repairs needed.

Our room was newly remodeled. They had good parking and decent service. The pool hours of 530am-10pm came in clutch for the kids! The location was easy to access from the highway and it wasn't that far from campus.
