The bed was super comfortable with very nice linens, pillows, quilt and throw. There was plenty of coffee, tea bags and flavored creamer. The fridge was clean and cold with a small freezer. Everything was very clean, tastefully appointed plus a deck of cards and board games.

I have al says wanted to stay in the hotel and suite that is named after my grandfather, Dr. Hughes. I was going through the region and had the opportunity and was looking forward to the visit. The train and noise from people reving their engines up and down Main Street made it impossible to enjoy the hotel. The hotel itself is nice and if in a quiet location, I would stay there again.

The room was great! The trains are a little loud at night. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is a clean, comfortable, and spacious. There is a little kitchen area with coffee. I would definitely stay here again. It is a neat historical building.

This place is such a hidden gem! Perfect location in Walnut Ridge on Rock and Roll HWY. Across the street from the Amtrak station which makes it perfect if you are traveling by train. Within walking distance is Abbey Road where you'll find A Beatles statue at Beatles Park and next door to a delicious Mexican Restaurant. The Rooms at the Rhea are perfect, with comfortable beds, Kitchenette, and sitting areas. And the parking lot has plenty of room for trailers. We were towing a 24ft enclosed trailer. Plenty of space to turn arouind!

I love the kitchenette and the coffee maker! The room is comfortable and spacious, the dinette table expands for a great workspace, and the bed is soft and inviting. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I always stay here when traveling for business.

I booked a room there to stay on a train trip that was to take me to Arkansas. Amtrak canceled the train and I couldn’t get there. I tried to cancel the room 30 hours or so before my scheduled arrival, but but the cancellation was not accepted. They posted their cancellation policy on the side, and I know that they had a right to keep the payment for the room that I agreed to. It was just a bit disappointing, since I travel a good deal and expect a bit more than this from hotels. I’m thankful that there is a hotel in such a small town, and I hope to be able to stay there at some point in the future. But just as a warning to fellow travelers, they are serious about the cancellation policy and will enforce it (whatever the cause).

If you find yourself in Walnut Ridge this is the only place you want to stay. Entrance is in a cool alley with murals, the rooms are large and clean, giant bathroom with super hot water shower, and just a wonderful vibe. We made our reservation online and were sent an instant email back with all the information we needed. We highly reccommend.

My husband and I were traveling and came across this hotel that is ran by the local college. Check in and check out was smooth. Price is reasonable. The location is close to different food options that are walking distance. There is also a Beattles Park and the Guitar Park within a few minute walk. It was a great stay away from a busy city!
