Such a great place to hang out and play/buy/watch all kinds of games. Went there to check out magic:the gathering stuff, walked away with some of that, some D&D goodies, and lots of ideas for future purchases. Staff is amazing and the vibe is very friendly. Can't recommend enough.

They really do their best to build a community you want to be a part of here. We've attended and spectated a few events now and the staff always make us feel really welcome and open to any questions we have. Their stock of games, cards, and all manner of accessories has been really great. Anytime I've called with questions the person on the other end has been extremely pleasant. So far even other patrons I have engaged with in organized play have been beyond welcoming and friendly. It's really exciting to find a treasure like Game Kastle College Park.

I spent a weekend at Game Kastle for a Pathfinder Society mini-convention and the store, community, and staff were some of the most welcoming and affirming people I've ever interacted with in a gaming space. I am visibly transfem, and at no point during the weekend was I made to feel unwelcome or uncomfortable. I will gladly make the drive to Game Kastle for my hobby needs, and Boyd and his team have done a fantastic job of creating a space that is welcoming to everyone. Well done, y'all!

Super nice and amazing staff. While the locale is not huge, this is the prime example that a great game store doesn't need to huge to be great. Has an amazing gaming area and their collection is varied and has quality stuff. If you are looking for VERY niche stuff like Battletech, you might not find that here, but you can find everything else you can think of. Also, they sell those little hotel chocolates called Andes. 10/10 will be back for dice and chocolate.

Honestly my favorite game store in Maryland that I wish I hadn't had to move away from for work.

I had an unfortunate experience with this stores return policy. Apparently there is a strict “return as bought” policy for refunds. I had bought a bottle of turbodork paint. Not only had the pigment separated, but the squeeze nozzle on the bottle popped right off when I tried to pour some paint. I tried to explain this to the store clerk and ask for an exchange and he told me he could not do an exchange. I believe in supporting your local hobby store, but I have not faced a similar issue with exchanges at other stores in my area. I have enjoyed buying my paints here in the past, but this “buyer beware” mentality will not have me returning anytime soon.

Reply to Store: your policy is in direct violation of MD Commercial Law 2-314. You failed to modify the implied warranty of merchantability as per Maryland law and thus I would be entitled to liquidation of damages under the Maryland code. Whereas I won’t sue for the grand total of $8 because it is a waste of time, I also feel that it is equivalently unreasonable to lose a loyal customer over an $8 unusable bottle of paint.
