This is a great program for kids looking to get into flag football. The coaches are great teachers and very patient and enthusiastic. I highly recommend them for people looking to teach their kids (boys & girls) the game of flag football in a competitive, supportive environment.

My son has been in Bed Stuy Football for two seasons. The league plays year-round, keeping the kids active and building continuity between both the coaches and the kids. The coaches are awesome for two reason…1. They are teaching the kids legitimate football skills, regardless of age. But more importantly, they teach and emphasize all the important “side aspects” of sports. Giving 100% all the time, keeping your head up in the time of adversity, demonstrating sportsmanship, etc.

This is an excellent program! The Fall 2022 season was our child's first experience with flag football and team sports in general. Coach Dan Flores and the entire crew of coaches (Coach Grant, Coach Jamal) were very communicative, instructive and (most importantly) encouraging. There is a great mix of experience levels among the kids who are kind and supportive of each other while also expressing healthy competitive spirit. The first 3 weeks are skills-related practices/drills, then they move to scrimmages which kicks-up the intensity for the kids nicely. Our child definitely improved his football skills and gained self-confidence. I highly-recommend it!

My son's experience joining BSS flag football has been amazing. This is his 1st time participating in the sport. He loves it. The coach's are very inspiring. The organization itself teach's kids good sportsmanship. We will be participating in the Winter skills and conditioning classes.

Wow, such a memorable and amazing time my family and I had with Bed-Stuy Sports. From the warm heartfelt introduction by the coaches, supporting staff, friends, teammates and family, to the last day of Championship, we are already looking forward to what’s next.

Bed-Stuy sports have been such an asset. My son has been a member of Bed-Stuy sports for 3 years. My 12 year old son who became very introverted as a result of COVID is back to his old self thanks to Bed-Stuy sports. He has become confident in his athletic abilities. My 6 year daughter has participated with their younger league for 2 years. My children look forward to the weekly practices and games. The organization is very organized. The coaches take what they do very seriously but make things incredibly fun for the children.
