What an extraordinary experience! This home was meticulously repaired, which cost a staggering $750K!! I'm so very grateful it was, though, since I enjoyed the home and nearby museum immensely. The staff were so kind and willing to answer any questions the attendees had. They were quite knowledgeable about the home, the original owners, and Andrew Lloyd Wright. Being in the space is truly an exceptional opportunity to FEEL what Wright does with space, materials, and lines. It's truly a masterpiece, and Wright was obviously ahead of his time in terms of design. I would, without a doubt, highly recommend the tour. I have BIG hopes of duplicating the garden at my home (and expanding on it). Please go see it and I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as we did!

Hey Ya'll! Just another stop on our day of vacation excursions, and this one is more of a work of art ! The Rosenbaum house in Alabama. The architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, designed this home of which is one of many in this country. It is simple but not. It's very functional and exquisite as well. You just need to see to appreciate the work in it. It's amazing really!

The Rosenbaum house is amazing. The docent was amazing too. She is so knowledgeable about Frank Lloyd Wright and Stanley and Mildred Rosenbaum, and the house. The tour doesn't take a super long time and is only 10.00. 5.00 for seniors 62 and over. The architecture is fascinating. There are pictures of the Rosenbaums on display throughout the house. Highly recommended if you are a fan of architecture.

We love FLW design and wanted to knock this home off our bucket list. The docent was very knowledgeable and had personal experiences with the Rosenbaums when they were alive. The simplistic take on architectural design and execution...a work of Usonian art!!

So fun to see this house! Usonian houses are full of that iconic mid century modern design and it's on full display here. Guide was knowledgeable and I liked the tour setup of wandering around at your own pace, and seeking the guide out for questions and commentary. There's some informational panels in the ticket office that provide some backstory while you wait for your tour time to start. Highly recommend!

Never expected to find a FLW home in Florence, AL. Guided tour of the house was wonderful! The docent, Bob, grew up in the neighborhood and knows the history of the home & the owners very well. Delightful way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon!
