We stayed in a paradise cabin. The cabin is small, but has everything we needed. Cooking utensils were provided, the shower had pretty good pressure, linens were high quality and the room enough space for two with ample room for clothes

Bed was small for two people, one of the lights broke during our stay, the door lock was fiddly and it would have been nice to have a toaster or microwave for food.

Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, it was very cozy and the location is convenient for hiking, if the host could provide a few imrovements it would be great for a future stay.

Otherwise if you are looking for a base for hiking in bishop canyon, I’d recommend staying in a rental or hotel in bishop given the 30min or less driving time up to either or the two lakes, unless you want the off the grid mountain cabin experience specifically.

We stayed in the cheapest cabin. It was perfect for the night before backpacking. Hot shower and comfy beds. All we needed to make dinner and breakfast. Nice people. Easy check in.

We stayed for Memorial Day weekend and were so happy with our choice. Our cabin was right on the river so we opened the windows at night to sleep with the sounds of the river flowing. The heater was more than enough to keep the room comfortable during the day as well. South Lake was just a five minute drive from the resort and the boat rental with Parchers is a must! Just down the driveway from our cabin was a beautiful hike along a river that was so accessible, and beautiful. The receptionist, Destinee, was very helpful with our trip planning as well! We will definitely come back here in the Fall.

This is a very over due review. I stayed there twice and thoroughly enjoyed the place, service and the area around. Big shout out to the owner, who at the middle of the night took me to the town to get a lodging when her place was completely booked and I showed up with no reservations and a big backpack after two weeks in the woods. You were so kind. Thank you so much Patricia! I will never forget that night.

Recently stayed there with my dog (sausage) the staff is great. The maintenance man was very personable. The fishing was awesome and the cabins were nice. Don’t forget to bring your sleeping bag and pillow and towels. The place is priced affordable. I will be back soon.

Second year visiting Parchers, and once again, our family had an AMAZING time! Love this spot and the lakes nearby.

We’ve been coming here for 5 years tried several cabins. #25 being our favorite. Needed more space this year. Tried cabin #20 for 1 week. Set up & bbq area we’re nice. However, for a cabin that sleeps 4. We had only 2 dinner plates, no drinking glasses, no steak knives, no clean towels after 3 days, dripping kitchen faucet with pan under sink which had to be emptied daily. Refrigerator had missing vegetable tray & missing condiment holders on the door. One roll of t-paper in bathroom. Needless to say fir the price thy charge amenities were not “resort” level. Unfortunately sadly this will be our last visit.
