Comova is the place to go for those seeking adventure in the cycling community. I had such an incredible time and feel so grateful to have had Steve as a guide. I was shown the most incredible routes with the most epic views and terrain. I ride gravel and was able to experience a mixed terrain through redwood forests, as well as some of the best road riding of my life along the coast and up and around so many incredible climbs - it was a non-stop high for me!

The place I rented - Comovas Cazita - was fully hooked up with everything I needed for comfort. There was a full kitchen, a spa-like shower, gorgeous views of forests and tree-tops around, I even saw deer out the window. I also particularly loved the excellent bike enthusiast reading material and photos that were placed throughout the place, making it an endlessly entertaining and informative stay.

The outdoor area on the property is equipped with a jacuzzi and hammock which was such a sweet experience after a long day of riding, and the bike barn was great for storing my bike and getting in ready in the morning for the send.

Steve is super helpful, kind, and is just an all around rad human who is so much fun to ride with! 10/10 would recommend this experience. Nay, you NEED THIS experience! I know I did and can't wait to go back soon.

We spent four nights with Steve in Cazadero and three amazing days cycling through redwood forests, tunnels of California oak, and along hwy 1. It was magical. My friends and I went for the e-bikes and were very happy to have the assist on the hills and were not exhausted after a 30 mile ride. Steve is very knowledgable about the area and its history. We will definitely call on Steve again to guide us on another cycling trip. His little casita is comfy and thoughtfully appointed- beautiful trip.

Best experience ever. Since the first day. The cabin Cazita is wonderful and sleeping there is very relaxing. Steve and Claire are amazing hosts and also great in organizing an setting up rides and support. Every ride is gorgeous and it has a lot of beautiful views and spectacular places to see. You cannot go wrong in booking some adventures with them! 5/5 stars and the next tour is already on the schedule!

My husband and I had a fantastic experience with Comova Cycling and Steve. We began the four night, three day adventure as very occasional cyclists, and we ended deeply excited about getting into cycling more. We rented e-bikes from Steve and that was a total game changer. It allowed us to go 35+ miles a day, with relatively significant elevation gain, without any issue. I'd never ridden an e-bike before and, after the great experience with Steve, I'm going to buy one of my own. Riding an e-bike was still great exercise, but it made the climbing so much more manageable! The entire experience - from the great e-bikes to the lovely accommodations to Steve's helpful and cheerful demeanor - it was all fantastic. Highly recommend without any hesitation.

We loved our riding experience with Comova Cycling. For three unforgettable days Steve expertly guided us through the beautiful coastal Sonoma County landscape. Our group of 4 rode a mix of electric and "analog" bikes, and the mileage and hill profile couldn't have been better. The accommodations are well-located, private and super comfortable. Our daily post-ride hot tub soaks were a huge plus.

I joined Comova Cycling's King Ridge and Eel River cycling adventure based in the heart of the huge redwoods of Humboldt County in March. Guide Steve Z was super organized and so enthusiastic in sharing his love of riding in special places where so few folks venture. It was a fantastic trip on every level.

I rented one of his fleet of VAAST '1x 38-42' gravel bikes and it was set up perfectly for the riding we did. It's really worth considering not having to travel with your own bike.

The routes Steve created were gorgeous and very remote with varied scenery and great gravel at elevations that offered sweeping views and long fun descents. The accommodations were also perfect in terms of comfort and location. I highly recommend using Comova Cycling for your Northern California mixed terrain cycling adventure.

Incredible experience riding with Comova Cycling. I stayed at the Cazita which is a lovely studio that was fully equipped and incredibly comfortable and also convenient as all the rides start and end there. There’s a cycling barn that has everything that a cyclist would need and more.

I had booked a supported ride where we would have Comova on call incase we had any difficulty but navigate the routes ourselves. The briefings every morning were extremely detailed and we didn’t have any trouble making our way around. The routes that were curated had a mix of so many things – the redwoods, the Pacific Coast, multiple crossings of the Russian River, quirky neighbourhoods – all this on very quiet roads. On one of the days Steve accompanied us on the ride and it made such a big difference hearing his insights of the neighborhoods we were cycling through – If I could do anything differently, it would be to book a guided tour instead of the supported ride.

The whole experience was made even more memorable by the thoughtfulness and generosity of Steve and Marion. They truly thought of everything! I would highly recommend Comova Cycling.

What an awesome experience and adventure. Steve took us deep into gravel heaven in the Heart of Humboldt! From the outstanding accommodations to his wife's pasta and chicken chili dinners, the whole trip was a blast. Steve was very familiar with the area and routes and provided 4 days of wonderful gravel riding in the deep redwood forests! Highly recommended if you want a trip to remember handled by a professional cyclist!
