Everyone needs to take a class like this. I completed the 1 day survival class and learned so much valuable information. I definitely feel confident that my chances of surviving an emergency situation are much higher now that I took this course. It was also a great group of people and the teacher Dan has so much experience and helpful tips and practical advice. I will definitely be going back to take their other classes.

Took the one day Core Survival Skills Course with Instructor Dan. He was very insightful and helped everyone understand the concepts at hand and the reasoning behind decisions that need to be made in survival situations. He made sure to answer everyone's questions and threw in some humor too. Loved the hands-on activity portions and had a blast! Would highly recommend if you are preparing on going on a long hike or backpacking trip!

I booked a Team Building Survival Workshop with California Survival School and it was an amazing experience. Our instructor Dan was helpful, insightful, knew a tons of info and data about any question we asked and made it fun for our team. We learned new skills and I am getting some of the tools we used in the workshop to be survival ready in my own hikes and trips. Very cool!

After taking previous basic survival training, California Survival School really helped us to take it next-level this time with a multi-day back-country primitive field training where we hiked out into the mountains to field-test our skills.

Survival training doesn't get any more legit than this.

It was an incredible feeling being taught by some of the best in the world how to walk out into the wilderness with just the clothes on my back, and not just survive, but to thrive. It was amazing being able to ask them any random wilderness/survival question. I felt like a little school kid on the greatest field trip of my life. Can we eat this? Is that poisonous? What the heck is that ball of 1000 furry legs crawling on the wall?
I gained confidence in how to prioritize, prevent, and tackle potential survival emergencies if they were to happen. The sense of self reliance grew as we watched the sun rise knowing we survived the night and laughed while doing it. This was a Life-changing experience for our team and we are so grateful that a school like this exists. Totally want to do the backpack through the Africa experience with them now.
