My boyfriend and I travel for work, we stayed at the Shasta pines motel for over a month. The owner and staff are very kind and attentive to all guests. They are pet friendly so our two fur babes were able to tag along as well which was amazing. The location is great, there’s a plethora of restaurants within a couple miles as well as a steak house right next to the motel. Overall we had a great stay and would most definitely recommend to others traveling through!

Had a great stay here while visiting family. The room was clean, warm and had everything we needed. The office and maintenance go above and beyond to make sure people have an enjoyable stay and it shows. Updated and safe!!

Great clean and reasonably priced hotel. They keep their exterior grounds well maintained and clean. The stuff is very friendly and helpful if you need help. They are pet friendly and also charge very reasonable price for pet owners. The place is definitely kid friendly, but it is not totally fenced in, so you will need to be watching your kids if you let them play out on the grounds. It is located at a good midpoint, so you can drive up to Shasta Mountain, Syskiou area, or you can also drive and visit the Chester or Mount Lasen area. The only thing missing is a good view, it's view is their parking lot

This was the perfect stop for a quick night stay! We arrived hella late, but contacted the property prior about our arrival and it was no issue at all!! They left our key in a lock box with a map and the wifi code. It made for an easy check in which was nice since we were exhausted from the drive. The room was clean and had AC which was great. We accidentally left one of our squishmellos behind... the owner was so quick to message us and set up arrangements to send us our squishy back. That was above and beyond!! Sooooo nice, soo amazing, that lil squish has sentimental value, so I really appreciate the care and kindness in reaching out. I would definitely stay here again ?

We were traveling for an all over California roadtrip and the bar near by was calling our name, they were closing but the bartender was real sweet and made us our one and done night cap with that good slushy ice. Rooms were clean, basic hotels. No complaints. Location was good for resupply and rest after a long day on the road.

I was doing a job for the railroad out in halls flat and the choices were susanville or burney, I made a lot of calls to a lot of hotels in both susanville and burney. When Michele at the Shasta pines motel answered the phone right away she went to work to get all of us the best deal we could find, she not only worked with a few of the workers including myself on rates. She was very welcoming to our animals as well. A few of us travel with our dogs so this is very important. Very friendly staff and a great location, there is a steakhouse basically in the parking lot that is very good, and burney bowl is only about a 45 second walk away. I 10/10 recommend to anyone staying in burney, go to the Shasta pines!! Thank you so much Michele!!
