Wow! This place was amazing! When we checked in, the heater in the room wasn’t working well and we were traveling with a baby. The staff were really accommodating, checked on the unit, and upgraded us to another available cabin. They were so friendly and made the experience stress-free. The cabin had everything you could ever want (whole kitchen, washer/drier, living space) and it made us want to stay for longer. Very comfortable and perfect for families.

I was not prepared for the rustic cabin next to mine to be blasting music day and night with a fire pit going for the other 3 cabins they rented. I understand management can't do anything, as it is not "quiet hours." I wasn't comfortable confronting them. CS did offer me another cabin, I appreciate that. However, I didn't see that email until night-time, the second, my last night there. Honestly, I am just disappointed, it is not how I expect it to be there. Party in the public area with the provided fire pits and put your speaker there, that is what I thought it was there for. I also have a new rescue dog, 1 year old, he chewed the heater cord as I was packing up. That was fair 80.00 for a new one. Not my best trip there. Going again though in April, 3 nights, same cabin, my favorite.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Hands free check-in was smooth and communication was excellent. We stayed in a tiny home and everything was fresh, clean and well stocked. They have pet friendly options, a wonderful wooded setting and creek side park behind the resort with botanical garden and some short hiking trails overlooking the creek below. I would happily recommend this resort as a perfect place to stay if you’re stopping near Shasta.

Our weekend here was perfect! Location has great walk-to hikes nearby, river access by the beautiful botanical gardens & meadow. The modern cabins were all (4 in our party) so cute and well appointed, and the airstream was as well. So many nice touches around the resort that made it great for all ages. Would love to go back some time soon and explore Dunsmuir, surrounding trails and Lake Shasta more! You could explore surrounding areas for a week!

My family and I stayed for Thanksgiving weekend,during the time when it's really cold. I originally reserved for the two bedroom cabin. However since it was really cold, the manager contacted me to offer me a Cabin to stay with heater and provided two cabins for my other guest, that way we didn't have to sleep in the cold. The cabins were clean and cute. I loved that it had everything we needed, we'll be coming back again soon.
Ps I hope the staff liked the tamales my family made for them as a thank you.
