10/10. Me and my boyfriend went for our 5 year anniversary and the girl working tonight was great. She did the ceremony and we’ve never had someone do it before. She was also very sweet and funny. Better than the wharf location 🙂

My child was so excited to get to go to build a bear! We left Mobile to head across the bay and got to Build a Bear at 7:20. They advertised they would close at 8:00. They were already closed with a sign posted on the door that they would be open until 8:00. So much for wasting a tank of gas to come over here and to have an extremely upset child. Absolutely ridiculous! Poorly run business.

Came in with my two year old and the employees were giving us dirty looks, there were other families in there for their child’s birthday and they got smiles and even sang too but me and my daughter were treated like we were an inconvenience. I walked around like a chicken with my head cut off with no help. I will drive two hours away or order online before I come back here

GO! Just GO! You will be so glad you did. I took both of my little boys last night. The only regret I have is not taking them sooner!! Watching our Stitch and Baby Yoda come to life was such a fun experience!!! Stephanie really took the time to make sure that it was a MAGICAL time. She enjoys her job and it shows!!! She is an asset. Keep her around!! Thank you for your kindness. You brought so much joy to us!

Went here for me and my partners 2nd year anniversary even though we aren't kids we still had a great experience we weren't rushed through the stuffing process like I was expecting and the staff was extremely friendly

The employee here was handling the store all by herself. She seemed to love her shop and stayed positive and upbeat even though she was super busy. This place is expensive but worth it for my son's smile. Expect to spend at least $45 on one bear

We took our toddler in today for her birthday build a bear experience. I called before driving there and spoke to a guy who confirmed we would pay the price of her age, which was 2. When we got there we let her pick out which one she wanted not knowing it was only the birthday bear that would be $2. After she chose the MerFrog and had it stuffed, we were informed that the $2 didn’t apply. Too late at that point! Ava was sweet enough to give a discount for the misinformation which I diligently gathered before arriving via phone call and Google. Ava was very interactive with my daughter and made the experience magical for her. I do believe there should be a mandatory speech verbally given to any parent taking their child there for the birthday deal before allowing their child to choose which animal they want and before stuffing it. We did everything we could to confirm we were aware of how it worked and still got it wrong. Thank you Ava for being so sweet and understanding!
