Seriously. With the few options that there is and there are still people complaining ? this place is great and offers amenities that like almost no other park in the area provides. Yes in the summer the playground equipment will be hot. It's usually over 100 degrees in the summer what the heck would you expect? Use ur brains when you choose a time to come. And yes, the splash pad is wet. It's going to be wet. So if you're allowing your kids to run on the splash pad when it is wet. They might slip. Those things happen when water is involved. Maybe don't let your kid run when it's slippery. A little common sense goes a long way if you don't have any. Then this might not be the place for you.
