Someone told me this was the coolest gaming shop so I came to check it out, and they were right. It's run by Jay the owner and she was there playing 40k. It definitely has a chill comfortable vibe to the place. There was a room where people were playing D&D, and some other people were playing Magic at the tables. I am definitely coming back.

Cute & well decorated board game shop with ample table space for friendly games. Met the knowledgeable & helpful Ivy! This shop carries a few MTG pre constructed decks and boosters. Its no too far from Calpoly Pomona. They have a D & D room you can rent for $5/p/h with tons of painted miniatures, projector and sound system you can use.

Super friendly, well stocked and a strong social media presence on Discord, Instagram and here too on Google maps!
There's a private game room you can book for cheap, with snacks, drinks and a restroom available. There are tons of Dungeons & Dragons merchandise, figures and books. A selection of shirts and plushies too. Plus, this is my new FLGS for all things Games Workshop. They've got Warhammer 40,000, Age of Sigmar, and Killteam! They also haveMagic the Gathering, Lorcana and Pokemon! I'm trying to get Star Wars Unlimited going and then can order products directly for you! It's also very well decorated with soft lighting. There's chill music too and this has got to be the prettiest FLGS in this county.
Between the discord posting discounts, loyalty points, Patreon ranks and everything else, outside of working for GW, this place has potentially the best deals in America for brand new GW anything 🙂
Also conveniently located near MTSAC, Cal Poly Pomona and a shopping plaza right across the way with delicious curry, ramen and pho!

I love this shop! I recently got into Magic, persuaded by a friend, and everyone here is so kind and accommodating to new players! I’ve gone for a few commander nights and loved it each time. Honestly couldn’t have been at a better time!

Side Quest is one of the most welcoming game stores have ever been to. Friday Night Commander is fun and full of many friendly faces. The One Shots are a great way to meet more people. The Warhammer community is also really great. They can special order most Warhammer sets for you, and most days you can find casual games for Magic Commander!

I have been visiting this place for a few months now, and I absolutely love my time here. The community is great, and the staff is always helpful. Jay and Alex are always available to assist with any Warhammer questions, whether it’s about gameplay, lore, or painting tips and tricks. Trevor has extensive knowledge of Magic: The Gathering, ranging from card selection to combo building. Additionally, Drew and Ivy are always friendly and fun to hang out with.

They offer Dungeons & Dragons sessions and have a dedicated game room for one-shots and campaigns. The selection of books and accessories is massive, making it easy for anyone wanting to start a group or explore new options for their next game.

The Warhammer community here is fantastic; everyone is eager to help one another with Crusade games, share new painting techniques, and even teach newcomers how to play. With the new Age of Sigmar events happening, Sidequest is the place to be for fun and excitement.

Oh, and I haven’t mentioned the dice yet! They have an enormous selection to satisfy any dice enthusiast. From fancy and specialty dice to gimmick and even duck dice—you heard me right, duck dice!

I always love coming here. The staff is friendly and the community is fun and great. Events are really fun and a great place for Warhammer, Magic, or TTRPGs. I hope Side Quest becomes everyone's main quest for adventure and fun.

Came here for a scheduled 1 shot of DnD. We got Patrick as our DM. It was super fun. Staff was overall super cool and I was actually able to socialize which is rare.
Browsed their wares in a daze so I can't rate the store yet. Just the vibe and game. 10/10
