I am a mountain connoisseur & this is an amazing view. The lookout decking is well done & the outhouse building is clean. I go pretty often, weekly. Ocean is visible when clear, animals are abundant, foggy days it is even more unique.

A wonderful easy hike through grasslands, chaparral, and oak forest. Right now the wildflowers are starting to bloom.be sure to bring warm clothes as an option as it can get very windy blowing the foggy weather up from the coast . . . and a good sun hat! Beautiful vistas seeing all the way to the ocean.

Beautiful, breathtaking trails. The views are stunning both through the forest trails and over the mountains. No dogs are allowed. There’s beautiful other close-by open space trails around to check out as well.

It was a beautiful hike on a rainy cold day. The terrain is not that difficult with some uphill climbing and downhill movement. One can hike long distances depending upon which trail one chooses. The trails are mostly wide open with little shade, but at certain trails you can expect to see redwood forests. Due to the recent storms, fallen trees are found in many places and walking past them could be difficult at this moment. However, this should not be any problem in the future when the trails are cleared out. Overall a nice hike or walk.

No dogs allowed Hiking, Equestrian bikes are ok up to 15 MPH. Exposed hike. It's better to do on a cool day. Trails go up and down, but not too much to make it difficult. My favorite loop. Ridge Trail - Charquin Trail - Ancient Oaks Trail - Service Road. Short 3-4 mile loop. Beautiful views and great flowers after the drought.
